TOPIC: ISSUE51 - "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."
思路:
(+)兴趣是最好的老师
(-)如果只以学生兴趣作为依据会带来的问题.1 知识面窄 2 大量的开销给政府带来的经济压力
Conclusion: 鉴于分类教育存在的问题,可以用其他的方法来提高教学质量.

Although students will have great motivation to learn when the education is designed to meet their interest, it is rather unilateral. The speaker so overemphasizes the effects of interest that overlooks other influence what may impact the process of educational amelioration.

Admittedly, interest is the best teacher for learning. If one individual has strong desire to something, he will try his best to accomplish the task. Alan Turing, the father of computer, has keen interest on the scientific research when his three years old. It is even amazing that he attempted to write his first book named <about one kind microscope>.Just for the strong enthusiasm on research, he addicted into exploring the unknown world. His efforts were no in vain because of he provided a formalisation of the concept of the algorithm and computation with the Turing machine which playing a significant role in the creation of modern computer. On the other hand, if one person lose interest in one field, to achieve success in this field seems to be impossible. Nash, a famous NBA player who played soccer when he at high school, now has gained great success in basketball game. If Nash still chooses to be a soccer player rather than a basketball one what he dreams up to be, he probably still a common player. In short, interest can provide us unexhausted power to make all efforts to do achieve success.



However, is it our education designed only considering the student's interest? Unfortunately, it is not the case. The education whose goal is to foster a person with the well-round ability should consider many aspects when want to be ran in a healthy way. If student was educated in diversity ways, they are likely to choose to learn what they interest but refuse to study other important subjects such as mathematics, physics which containing huge knowledge will help their further research and study. Moreover, to survive in competitive society, the students should master some means of subsistence. The practices, for their boring procedure, may be abandoned for students in the "freedom" educational system. It will cause a terrible result that our students lacked the survival ability will hardly earn their bread ,let alone make contribution to our society.
The other deficiency in the "freedom" educational system is that the students are so immature that they can't realize what they really interest in. It is possible that their current personal preference is just in the heat of moment. Unfortunately, our educators mistook this impulse for interest. The consequence is that the students are limited in a certain field in their early age which they are interest in it. However, the constraints are the biggest barrier for these students when they find that they are not fit to this field after growth. Therefore, these students have to face the reality that they hardly change their profession after they find it actually does not favor them. Otherwise, in order to attain the "freedom" educational mechanism, the government should invest much money on it for building infrastructure and training the new teachers what may let them be trap into budget deficit. After all, the resources are limited.

The speaker's proposal to design the education to meet the student's interest is unreasonable and lacks feasibility. Educators, who desire to improve the educational system, should take other effective measures, such as enhancing the ability of teachers and giving some proper guidance, rather than only focus on the students' interest.

(作者这句话的意思错了吧,你这里的意思是是不是我们的教育只考虑了学生的兴趣? 正确的意思应该是是不是只考虑学生的新趣就够了,所以这句话的翻译是有问题的)Unfortunately, it is not the case. If studens was(were) educated in diversity(形容词是diverse ways, they are likely to choose to learn what they interestare interested in but refuse to study other important subjects such as mathematics, physics which containing(使用一般现在时contain) huge knowledgethat will help their further research and studyhelp them with their further research and study. Moreover,(in order to) to survive in (the)competitive society, the students should master some means of subsistence. 分析:
1.作者的语法作物比较多,还有一些单词的用法有待商榷

2.主体部分三段分别说了正 三段,但是个人觉得二三段可以合并缩写,第三段作者就可以提出自己的看法,比如说可以optional coursesrequired courses结合等等,这就是一个思维散发的过程 ,而不是在最后一段总结的时候才提出自己的想法。

3.不过总体来说全文的逻辑还是很合理的
