In any profession-business, politics, education, government-those in power should step down after five years. The surest path to success for any enterprise is revitalization through new leadership.
观点:我同意这种方法的确有作用,但是不是所有领域都适用,也不一定就是成功的唯一的条件,并且也不一定是5年
提纲:1 首先,承认这种方法的有效性,但是并不适用于所有领域. 正反两面论证
2 其次,即便适用于所有领域,也不一定就是成功的最好途径,其他因素....
3 再者,即使是最好的成功途径,也不一定非得是5年

Admittedly, under some circumstances, revitalization regularly is a reasonable and wise path to attain success and avoid other bad results in some profession, such as business, politics. That`s not to say, however, the suggestion can be applied to any profession in any cases, and it`s probably not the only factor leading to success. Accordingly, I agree with the statement insofar as revitalization does works well considering certain situations, and I conceive there actually exist other factors which can also contributing to success.
To begin with, it is well know that the significant influence imposed on the whole nation of professions like politics and economic, and thus there really exists a great necessity to revitalize the leaders for the purpose of attaining success and prevent bad results from happening. Take examples to substantiate my viewpoint. In the early years of Western Han Dynasty in China, the government being repressed by another nationality called Hun from the northern parts of the country mainly resulted from the emperor’s concept of governing—rest and build up strength rather than starting a war. Notwithstanding, things changed after another emperor Wudi came to the throne, who elaborated a series of battles against the Huns and finally defeated them. Emperor Wudi not only made great contributions to the unity of ancient China, but also the far-reaching Chinese nation`s fusion. By contrast, the vice governor of the Development Bank of China was prosecuted in China for vast amount of corruption mainly because of the unsound system of revitalization apart from his own deficiencies. Accordingly, we can clearly realize the importance function of revitalization—promoting to achieve success and avoid bad results.
Nonetheless, from my viewpoint, the suggestion cannot be applied to any professions regardless of their different characteristics, and it’s also not the only surest path to success. First, we have got to concede the leaders of certain special professions should be more experienced, which will high likely to ensure success. For instance, the captain of an adventure team to the Antarctic should be the most experienced rather than a new leader, who can probably not compete with the old one because of relatively short of experience. Second, even if the suggestion can be applied to all the professions, I still wonder an entrepreneur can absolutely achieve success merely depending on a new leader. In my opinion, success is based on capable leaders, demands of the market and faculties` cohesive forces and so on. All these factors are essential and crucial for an entrepreneur to attain success. Hence, the suggestion should be considered regarding different professions, and an all-sided conclusion that leading to success needs to be drawn.
Furthermore, granting that all the possibilities discussed above are true, the period of revitalization is not necessary 5 years, perhaps 4 years serve as a term of office is more reasonable. For examples, the United States and Russia both start a new election of the President every four years. Thus, whether revitalization every 5 years or not still remains to be considered.
To summarize, as I have discussed above, the suggestion should be treated specifically rather than generally, and clearly it’s not the surest path to success. |
