一、第一次模考相关信息:

3 资  料:GRE General Test Practice Book
4 成  绩:550(74%) + 690(69%)
5 前期准备:

  红宝书遍数: 10+
  红宝书记忆率:80%(随便写的,没有统计)

  逆序遍数:4+
  逆序记忆率:(没有统计)

  蓝宝:18个List左右

  No.类反:做到No.3-1.2

二、第一次模考总结:

0 Verbal错题分布
   Sentence Completioins: 5/14
   Analogys: 5/18
   Reading Comprehension Questions: 11/22
   Antonyms: 3/22

1 总体感觉:
   如果训练到位,并且心理不紧张,我们正常人以正常的能力可以对付GRE笔试

2 时间感觉:
  在规定时间内VQ都可以涂完答题卡,注意不是时间够用!
  Q刚好够用,V大概还差5分钟,目前不存在跨区时间

3 存在问题:
  类反速度不够快,主要是因为单词逻辑掌握程度不到位
  填空理解不到位,主要是因为训练不够,前期并没有填空复习
  阅读速度与准确度不合拍,主要是因为训练不够,导致长阅读时间(读,答,涂)只有10min
  数学速度与概念需要提高,主要是因为本次模考数学为裸考,部分概念不理解,同时部分题目粗心--概念+细心+熟悉

4 阅读特别感觉:
  阅读是可以读懂的,读懂后是可以做对的,而蒙对的概率比较小
  本次模考阅读猜8个阅读,这8个均错,按理解做的错了3/14个
  虽然一次模考不足以说明整个GRE考试的阅读部分
  但我认为“可以说明”,即
  做阅读时,我们不能抱以“总可以猜对一个”的想法
  将自己的命运掌握在自己手中
  认真备考,提升能力是本质
  掌握做题技巧是旁支,尽量少用心在这方面
  否则,结果将可能不是我们想要的

  3月份从类反、填空、阅读三方面进行集中训练,各为期10天

“each of the four squares has sides of length x”, not the biggest square!! Another trap!

Section 5
15 Error lies in “96 – 45 = 41”à96 – 45 = 51

20. What is the perimeter of the rectangle shown above?
The rectangle is not equal to a square!!!

21/22 做题时对CONGRESS的组成理解错了,以为是
CONGRESS就是House of Representative(HoR)
HoR中的多少人又是Senate
理解错的原因在于缺乏常识,不过,ETS不会考这个常识,否则不公平
因此,在ChartTitle中注明
Total membership: 535
这个数字即等于
HoR(435) + Senate(100)
粗心+主观乱猜à错误

I More than 80 percent of the men这是比较范围,做题时没有把握准确
418……..Male……….100
418/(418+100) > 520*80%= 416àI can be inferred.
III median age概念错误

中数(median)
对一组数进行排序后,正中间的一个数(数字个数为奇数),
或者中间两个数的平均数(数字个数为偶数)。

Chart并没有给出所有Age,所以,根据上述定义,median age cannot be inferred.

28 A certain cake recipe states that the cake should be
baked in a pan 8 inches in diameter. If Jules wants
to use the recipe to make a cake of the same depth
but 12 inches in diameter, by what factor should be
multiply the recipe ingredients?

理解“what factor should be multiply the recipe ingredients
当时想成增加的成份占recipe的多少
实际上应该为
The recipe ingredients * answer = ingredients needed.

Assuming that the depth is 1, we can get the two volumes
π * (8 / 2) ^ 2 = 16π
π * (12 / 2) ^ 2 = 36π
36π/16π = 2.25

Or
6^2/4^2=9/4
