Obviously, if each student is educated with satisfying individual needs and interests, the students’ distinct potential and talent will be fully developed and the education system will be more effective. But, until now, this ideal state is too difficult to reach. Moreover, some students’ needs and interests should be intervened appropriately to evade crime or harmful habits. Actually, meeting each student’s interests is not the "only" effective way in modern education.

I approve considering the specific needs and interests of each student in education. Teaching students in accordance with their aptitude could stimulate students’ talents and exert one’s potential. As people’s fingerprints, there are almost no absolute same people in the world, including their interests and needs. If schools teach students with the same courses, methods and speed, some students’ individuality are eliminated easily in bud and they become the victims of uniform education system. In contrast, if personal interests are respected completely in modern education, students will be well developed and they will do their best in his desired position or field.

However, if education system pays more attention to specifically designed education, such an educational pattern does not make use of the limited educational resources. Although numerous of colleges and education institutions have been set up in recent years, educational resources is still not sufficient in the world. In the light of United Nations’ statistics in 2010, at least 72 million children cannot exercise their right to education and 56 million children out of school if no action is taken to reach the marginalized. Even in the developed countries, there are not sufficient educational resources to meet each student’s needs and interests. Thus, with limited educational resources, it is unpractical to design education more specifically according to students’ needs and interests.

Even if educational resources abound, specifically designed education should not replace traditional general education. Especially, in the phrase of fundamental education, students should receive more basic knowledge instead of only focusing on their own interest. Moreover, some students’ needs and interests are harmful for their growth. The modern education should guide students escape from those bad interests. For example, for the teenage in primary and secondary school, if

he/she is interested in painting and taught only with painting, he/she may be ruined by the education. Because there are a lot of other things needed to learn, not only the students’ interested things, such as language, how to use computer, how to drive a car and so on. Except for these skills, for the students who like painting, they also know some knowledge about philosophy or aesthetics, which are necessary to their future development in art. For worse, some students always addict in video games. Under this circumstance, students need more intervention or persuasion instead of meeting their interests.

In modern education, education only designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student is not enough. In different age, students should be educated with different educational way. Generally, for students in low grades, more compulsory courses should be provided, such as languages and sports. Perhaps, some of them may be not good at these courses, but these are necessary for their future life and help students construct basic knowledge system of world.
In high level education, students should have more choices for their interested courses or knowledge, and education system also provide those opportunities to students. In this way, education will become more effective.

In sum, people educated with specifically designed educated plan could get many benefits from the way. But from above examples and reasoning, you can acknowledge it is not only effective way to educate people. Sometimes, it is one good complimentary educated method to the traditional education.
