Since Industrial evolution, human lives has been significantly improved for the reason of drastic speed of scientific research and development. Many implements have been established to facilitate our lives, such as air-conditioning, TV, computer and so forth. Thus, should the government place few restrictions on scientific research and development? At the level of humanity, I disagree with the speaker because the high speed development of science and technology might endanger our lives.


Admittedly, new research and development played a critical role in our daily lives since 19th century. Moreover, with the advent of new technologies, we seem to be more rely on them to survive. However, we lost some basic moral and ethics standards of humanity, such as notions of sexual change, which can modify person's sexual merely depending on his or her willing and ignore other potential dangerous respects which were created along with this change. Moreover, it is possible that so-called facilities which made to improve ourselves will finally expel human outside the earth, or more severe, eradicate us. Consider many horrible spots in the Movies, such as ROBOT, which depicts that vast majorities of robots make curfew in order to imprison human in their homes, and people are restricted to do anything. In this sense, we should make more stringent law to rule our current scientific research and development.


We can find many cases in our daily lives that might act as implicit role in our future life. Consider Genetic engineer, which is likely to be the most noted discovery in 21th century, for the purpose of retail human bodies or limbs biochemistry scientists create to help disables. However, we might ignore several dangers deriving from this technology that many so-called people will be created from genetic technology and us real people will lost stance to live on the earth. When it comes to the development of the discovery of intellect and emotion of robots, scientists think more to render these robots help human deal with their daily lives and supply convenience to human. Yet, it is hardly to imagine what will happen when robots have their own purposes and beneficial consideration. Are the robots endangering our survival? Therefore, consummate rule to justify the research and development is indisputably necessary.


Turning next to the contrary side, if we place few, or no, restrictions or laws on scientific research and development, our lives, admittedly, can be drastically developed. After all, some new creations of vehicles or art's forms are of very value to decrease our working times so that they increase our times to entertainment. However, without the restrictions the absence of the last line of ruling scientists help scientists do whatever they want, even some things that bring about large profits to themselves and are dangerous for people. For example, some new chemistry weapons will be created by these scientists, which are seriously endangering human survival. And these technologies can help scientists earn vast majority of money by selling the products to terrorists with the chip of human security or human eradication. For this case, human should establish more strict laws to regulate the justification and rationality of scientific research and development.


In sum, as assistants of our convenient lives, scientific research and development of course should continue to be discovered. However, how to control the extent of the scientific research and technologies springs from our government. Therefore, in order to ease or avoid potential dangers of human lives, we must establish a lot of strict laws to restrict the behavior of scientists. So I disagree with the speaker's contention.
