Within 18 months, two manufacturing companies moved to Dillton, where they employ a total of 300 people. Therefore, the fastest way for Beauville to stimulate economic development and hence reduce unemployment is to provide tax incentives and other financial inducements that encourage private companies to relocate here."

The editor claims to the fastest way to incentive economic development and decline the unemployment for Beauville is give favorable measure to appealing private companies relocate here on tax incentives and other privilege. However, the author has no sufficient evidence to support his statement in one and more aspects that cannot convince me.

First of all, the report of economic development surveys by government of Dillton demonstrate that takes some appropriate measures on tax rates and other relevant respects could incentive economic developing. The author unfairly assumes that the success of Dillton would also gain same achievement consequence in Beauville. These policies may not fit for Beauville’s business surroundings. The two cities have different economic backgrounds and level, the city of Beauville perhaps is a metropolis, but Dillton city is small and behind the Beauville city. Face different situation should take dissimilar measures.

Secondly, even though take same policy as Dillton would be reacted, the author is unfairly assumes that it is the fastest way to incentive economic development. Improve location business progress has several approach. Such as elevate education level, encourage consumption, appealing more high-tech industry and companies locate our city, support to build basic infrastructure and urge science explore and so forth. If the speaker can not give more testimony to illustrate the way that the local government offer provide tax incentive and other financial inducements to companies, it would be doubting to said which way is the fastest.

Thirdly, even if the economic measure implement, it would be enhance the proportion of employment. However, the author is unfairly assumes that it could reduce unemployment as well. Gain occupation is easy, but whether unemployment or not, is based on worker’s technique and other respects. So someone who gets a job cannot be sure that he would not be fired by his boss. As a result, the author should take more details and evidence into his consideration about his point of view.

In sum up, the speaker should put sufficient facts on the economic background of the city Beauville and more information about the different between the two cities. He also should illustrate the incentive way that Beauville way why it is the fastest. In addition, he ought to distinguish the relationship between employment and unemployment. If the author does all above that his statement would be more convinced.
