丢人了......
From the reading we got to know that the Austen family wants to sale a portrait of Jane Austen, one of the most famous English novelists. As a controversial figure, the speaker point out that the portrait might be a fake one.
In the first place, the speaker pointed out that the portrait was published in 1882, in which year Jane Austen already dead for 70years, and the Austen’s family member who gave permission to use the portrait may not see Austen himself.
In the second place, the Austen family has a large number of members, and Jane may have one or more relatives at the same age. The girl in that portrait might be one of Jane’s relatives who happened have a similar outlook with Jane.
Finally, the speaker gives the evidence from the canvas of portrait. He found out the canvas was purchased from William ***, who at the time when Jane was a teenager did not sale canvas at London, and when he started to sell canvas for the portrait, Jane Austen was already 27years old which is clearly older than the girl in the portrait.
Consequently, what the reading passage demonstrates could not be sufficient enough to refute the speakers saying.

Both the lecture and the passage are discussing the topic of whether fossils should be sold to private owners for collections or donated to public museum for everyone watching.
First, the speaker begins by pointing out that the fossils sold to the private owners would not make the public to see the fossils much harder, because the dollars gained from the private owners would make more fossils to be discovered, however, the museum routinely cannot afford the money for the fossils. In that case, the museum also could not display them to the public.
Second, the speaker saying that the fossils on the market must have scientific identification, that means every fossils would have detailed examinations, so the scientist could study completely on the fossils and won’t miss anyting important. So this point contradicts with the argumentation of the article.
Furthermore, the speaker casts doubt on the private collectors would destroy the valuable fossils. Without the trendy of collecting fossils there won’t be so many fossils discovered. The private collectors helped the process of unearthing fossils.
In conclusion, after discussed above, we can say that private fossil collectors would benefit discovering and protecting the fossil.

Both the lecture and the passage are discussing the topic of whether fossils should be sold to private owners for collections or donated to public museum for everyone watching. (感觉这个句子有点怪怪的)
First, the speaker begins by pointing out that the fossils sold to the private owners would not make the public to see the fossils much harder(这个句子纠结了, the speaker points out that the public’s welfare would not be affected by the selling of fossils among private owners), because the dollars gained from the private owners would make more fossils to be discovered, however, the museum routinely cannot afford the money for the fossils. In that case, the museum also could not display them to the public(为虾米我感觉意思不是这样的).: f' @# [7 ~" x$ D
Second, the speaker saying says that the fossils on the market must have scientific identification, that means every fossils would have has detailed examinations, so the scientist could study completely on the fossils and won’t miss anything important. So this point contradicts with the argumentation of the article(主旨意思我听得是,scientists can have the chance to test the fossils, therefore they would not miss the chance to touch with the important fossils).
Furthermore, the speaker casts doubt on that the private collectors would destroy the valuable fossils. Without the trendy of collecting fossils there won’t be so many fossils discovered. The private collectors helped the process of unearthing fossils.
In conclusion, after discussed above based on the discussion above, we can say draw the conclusion that private fossil collectors would benefit the discovering and protecting the fossil.

楼主貌似没有抓清楚主旨意思。再接再励嘎。建议看以下,常用的小作文模板。
