Is it necessary to question what we are taught? Although a certain skepticism is the essential to find a discovery or make a progress for the students and researchers, it is unreasonable to question all the knowledge because the efforts on it may not only waste the time but also can't get nothing in the end. Therefore, when the students study something must keep a skepticism and use the correct knowledge to help them make the progress rather than accept it passively.
Admittedly, a particular skepticism and challenge the authority will result in great inventions and discoveries. We all know, the famous scientist, Galileo was challenge the theory that the two iron ball with different weight will fall in the floor at the same time, and then make an experiment on the Pisa tower to prove the theory is wrong. Another example is that Einstein broke the restrictions came from the Newton's physical theory, and then present the famous relativity theory. The successes of our predecessor cautioned us that we should have a certain skepticism on the study and research.
Moreover, when it comes to the educational system, the skepticism is an important influence for the students to enhance their ability and make a progress. Clearly, the students' mind is still immature, and need the guidance from teachers, parents and every individual in the society. But for limitation for this people's cognition, the knowledge they taught to the students should not be always correct. In this crisis period, the students, which the future constructors for society, must enhance their alarm and keep a skepticism on these diverse knowledge came from the outside world.
However, it is unnecessary to question whatever the students' study because the speaker's conclusion was presented with the premise that all the theories and discoveries made by our predecessors are wrong. But the reality is not that case. Even the famous researchers, brilliant business man, and sagacious leaders hardly present some discoveries, measure, policies without the correct basis from our predecessor. For example, the famous scientist, Einstein who have mentioned above can not present the relativity theory without the powerful mathematic tools which the correctness has been proven. So when the students study or research a new thing, the can use these correct knowledge to help them rather than to question.
In sum, in order to make the progress, the students should keep the curiosity on the thing they are studying. In the same time, the correct knowledge that its correctness have proven can be applied as a tool for the student's following study.
