In this set of material, the author and the professor conflict with each other in whether the subject of a portrait is Jane Austen or not.

To begin with, according to the passage, the Austen family entitle the girl in the portrait is Jane Austen. However, the professor argues that it is such a long time after Austen's death when her family permit the portrait that even Austen's family haven't what's Austen look like.

In addition, unlike the author's opinion that the face the portrait resembles the one in Cassandra's sketch, the professor maintains that Austen had plenty of teenage cousins whom resemble each other, consequently, it may be one of her cousin be depicted in the portrait.

Finally, referring to the date of the painting, the author believes it was painted when Austen was a teenage due to the possible painter of the portrait, Ozias Humphrey, active just in the time when Austen was a teenager. Nevertheless, the professor substantiates that Humphrey was not in London when Austen was teenage, and when he was activity in London Austen was 27. Accordingly, the date of the painting is still out of question.
Just do it!

In this set of material, the passage and the lecture conflict with each other in whether the subject of a portrait is Jane Austen or not.

To begin with, according to the passage, the Austen family acknowledged the girl in the portrait is Jane Austen. However, the professor argues that it is 70 years after Austen's death when the portrait was authorized for use. Hence, the family members who asserted the painting was Jane even had never seen Jane themselves, not to mention discern the portrait.

In addition, unlike the author's opinion that the face in the portrait resembles the one in Cassandra's sketch, the professor maintains that Austen had plenty of teenage female cousins in the relevant phase or nieces of teenagers and some of them resemble Jane. In fact, considerable experts believe it was one of her descent niece depicted in the portrait.

Finally, referring to the date of the painting, the author attributes it was painted when Austen was a teenage due to the style of the portrait associates with Humphrey, who was active exactly the time when Austen was a teenager. Nevertheless, the professor substantiates that a stamp on the back of the picture indicates the canvases, on which the picture was painted, was sold by William, and evidences shows that when he started selling canvases in London, Austen was 27 years old. Accordingly, the date of the portrait is still open to question.
Just do it!

In this set of material, the passage and the lecture conflict with each other in whether the subject of a portrait is Jane Austen or not.开头很简洁啊。

begin with, according to the passage, the Austen family acknowledged the girl in the portrait is Jane Austen. However, the professor argues that it is 70 years after Austen's death when the portrait was authorized for use. Hence, the family members who asserted the painting was Jane even had never seen Jane themselves, not to mention discern the portrait嗯很好。内容都表达出来了

ddition, unlike the author's opinion that the face in the portrait resembles the one in Cassandra's sketch, the professor maintains that Austen had plenty of teenage female cousins in the relevant phase or nieces of teenagers and some of them个人觉得一个亲戚的词就可以都概括了,都是要表达的意思 resemble Jane.额这个首句太长了吧占了一大半段 In fact, considerable experts believe我听到意思是也不一定就是确认可能用May比较合适 it was one of her descent niece depicted in the portrait

Accordingly, the date of the portrait is still open to question.很细节啊这个我听的和理解的都有出入。12我读着没有11写的好,可能是长短不均衡吧。不好意思才改见谅!
