IIT要求提供学位证

遇上大麻烦了，公证处把我的degree译成 bachelor of literature，学校发email过来说应该是B.A.，可是公证处死活不承认他们翻译有问题，我想问下各位有没有什么途径或者专业的网站公布正确的翻译，好说服公证处补办。（我只在Wikipedia上看到比较全的分类，但是Wiki是不是不太有说服力啊？）

今天收到的email是这样写的，
Thank you for sending your official degree certificates from Jilin University. Unfortunately, as you can see in the attached scanned document, your degree certificate states that you have received a Bachelor of Literature degree, whereas you have stated you have earned a B.A.in Art Design. If this is a translation error, please have your university correct the degree certificate and resend it to the IIT College of Architecture.

不必找公证吧，自己按格式翻译一个，拿到学校盖个章就得了。我连章都没有盖就发过去了，IIT也没说什么。不过估计正式入学的话，还是要盖个章的。
