Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? One of the best ways for parents to help their teenage children prepare for adult life is to encourage them to take the part-time job.

Speaking of the family education, which is the crucial part of the development of children, there are more and more sparking ideas about it and one of the best ways for parents to help their teenage children prepare for adult life is to encourage them to take the part-time job is some kind like those ideas.

No one would deny qualified teenage children should not only have a proficient skill on academic activity, but also have an excellent knowledge about what the society is and who he or she really is. Without depicting the picture of the society in the mind, a young teenager may not set up their life purpose. And taking a part-time job is an efficient way to know the society. Because when a child takes a part-time job, he should contact with different people, from bosses to customers, from managers to colleague, at that time, he is not treated like the baby of his parents instead he switches into the role of a stranger, employee, or even an adult. In this way they can recognize how people take a place in society, and who he really is and who he can be in the rank of society. Thus, he will get matured.

To be specific, taking a part time job can be compared as rehearse as the future life, which will definitely help young children make a good preparation, both vocational and psychological, for future life. Take myself as an example, I took a part-time job or internship as a journalist at a newspaper, it was a piece of impressive experience, I got to know how to find the news, how the news being written, and how to arrange the page; and it was much more significant for me that I gradually learned how to communicate, how to get the trust of other people, and so on. One day, I went to countryside to interview a woman whose husband died in Indonesia. It was tough work, I went out at 7 in the morning, got back at 9 at night, after the article had been produced, the clock directed at 12 in the midnight. From this part-time job, I really realize the difficulties to be a woman journalist, but I'm not afraid, I can overcome the hardship by believing myself and working hard.

However, the most important thing for a student teenager is academic work. Only combine the school education, family education and society education together, can we help the teenage children become qualified and complete, and only the young generation make a difference can our society become better and better. Thus, in my opinion taking a part-time job is one of the best ways for teenage children prepare for the adult life.
