What is the value to study history? Some argue that because it related to our daily life. Yet, I disagree; I think the prospective is too narrow and bigoted.

Admittedly, in the daily life we always turn to history, searching for life models, which could give us encouragement and inspiration. When looking back, we tend to put ourselves in a determinate situation in order to test our wisdom and courage. Meanwhile, when we come to the deliberately-thinking role models in history, our mind are impressive company with spirit are enlighten. We saw a picture of Mother Teresa lighting a lamp to look after injured soldiers. We learn what to be charity and inside graceful. We saw in the laboratory, Edison is busying conducting experiments without hearing children are playing noisily in the yard. We gained a spirit named devotion, and fully understand how genius is come into being. By learning some classic books of Confucius, we gained a lot that how to be a true man and how to contribute to society. From this perspective of view, history is concerned with our daily life. Searching for myriads examples, we are trying to support ourselves, trying to be far from frustrated, trying to lead an optimistic and valuable life.

However, histories give us far more than daily life dependent or resources. The study of history have profound and deep affect in the areas, where might be so connected with daily life. History some times provides examples and reflects futures for politicians. Take the Chinese-anti-Japanese War as an example. The history informs us once fall behind, bitten is inevitable. Thus, wise politician always try best to boost economy and technology, and highly aware of the security of the county. By learning the history of Martin Luther king conducting the movement, politicians know better how to give the maximum freedom to his individual and this matter is closely connected with the prosperity and stability of a well regulated society. Form this view, the value of history will represent not only in the connection of daily life, but also the political area. We become more appreciate of owned happiness, more diligent in study science and technology, more wise to choose the future road.

Moreover, history also helps cultivate our own culture and national identity. Every country has its unique cultural and customs that we want to pass them generation by generation. That is the one of distinct reasons nearly every modern country encourages its citizen involved in history learning and spirit cultivating. By appreciating that blossom history, we can feel pride and committed to our country. Patriotism is the original force to unite groups of people together, and it is the real purpose for a country to become powerful and independent. Before the collapse of former Korea, there was rare education about history and at people that time were under a state of numbness, which they care little about the powerful of country. Compared with china, which are effectively at education young people since kindergarten to college, the youngsters in china keep high loyalty to their county. Maybe form this point history still has no relevance to our daily lives, but no one can deny its value in maintain the culture and national identity.

In sum, the history has value more from connection with our daily life, we drown into the history world to learn how to serve public and country, how to embody our culture identity, how to preparing for the foreseeable future. Besides, it maintains some significant value in cultivate the spirit of patriotism and pride of being an individual.
