OFFER  @ Central Michigan University，这是一个在美国国家级大学排名第4级200名左右的学校在MI州中部的一个小镇上，Economics这个系只有MA 没有PHD，但每年这个系的学生都有能去TOP50的学校去读PHD。我申的原因是我有一个师兄在这，他说这的人很NICE教授也很NICE，来了没会后悔。学校给的钱不多，We want to offer you a package that includes the following: 4.8 credit hours of tuition remission per semester and a stipend of $2,060 per semester.   Assuming you make normal progress you can count on having your aid renewed each semester at this level (or higher) for three semesters (the typical time it takes to finish our MA program).  So over the course of your studies the aid package is around $6,180 and 14.4 credits of classes.
Since we are a 30 hour program, you will have to finance the remaining 15.6 credits yourself. HOWEVER, since you will be a graduate assistant you will pay in-state tuition (which is around $435 per credit currently) rather than the far more expensive out-of-state level.   Your assistantship will require you to work 8 hours per week, likely helping a faculty member with research or grading.

个人情况：我家里还算富裕，自己拿钱读MA没有什么问题。 以后读不读PHD我现在还没想好，也不知道自己到底适不适合。
