ISSUE31 - "Money spent on research is almost always a good investment, even when the results of that research are controversial."Researchs come in all forms-from those experiments about genetic conversion of our DNA supported by a group of countries to some town-wide  opinion poll designed for the local government to figure out the effect its new public policy bring about.In most cases,researches is aimed at exploring the unknown field of the universe and thus improving our lives standard through significant inventions.But the idea that any kind of research should be funded even if ultimately disastrous  is goinging to vary greatly between the types of research that is discussed, the science research or political ones.Regarding the field of science ,many scientific researches are programmed to testify a original presumption  or schemed to obtain a compound.in its technical sense,science is naive,and it's how human use it that puts on different masks,good or evil, on its face .Think about the manhattan profect which was derive from/stem from an atomic experience designed by Albert Einstein focus on concreting his perspectives of atom.No one could forget the strategy happened in hiroshima after the atomic blast.nevertheless,multinational corrperation on the sustainable nuclear energy is still on the top of agenda for many countries,meanwhile,thousands of people benefit from nuclear power plant in oil or coal barren locations.So, it is fair to allege that more money devoted,more benefits we enjoy ,as long as the application of science achievement is under careful scrutiny from the whole society.Another variable is the research that is bound up with  public affair,mostly conducted by government apartments and profitable organizations.For example,when a pharmaceutical  manufacturer's r&d department is about to ask for more funds on a research to maximize the company's earnings  by employing a new cost-saving production line which seems not environmental-friendly and do harm to local citizens,the advanced supervision plays a vital role in determining whether or not should taxpayer fund the research. To the extent that a positive corporate enjoys superior priority to anything else,more monetary support will inevitably jeopardize the whole things.Before the final decision is made,we still have chances to reconsider the feasibility of a proposed research from a broader view,although sometimes the research is designed without any  malice.Unfortunately,in a great deal of instances,the power of decision is increasingly interwined with governmental politics.As one example,very little money was spent on researching the causes and potential cures for AIDS at the very beginning .As more and more cases was diagnosed, it eventually became clear that the disease was not limited to certain poor areas and the best time for fighting back was gone.this fact motivated more politicians act to spend more money on the research to combat AIDS,but it is still not enough.Governmental policy tends not to be so accurate that even more funds cannot make up for the past ignorance.In this sense,it is obviously that timely and comprehensive funds are the key to research in regard to a better outcome.To some up,abundant research funds is a good news to the science field,as long as the application is a sound one.However,when talking about other respects,more emphasis on the feasibility and long-term profit is most important to consider,for the influences which political researches have appears more directly to our daily lives.
