甚觉自己表达能力欠缺,可时日已不久矣。

Godwhat can I do to improve this situation?

Issue 69

     Government should place few, if any, restrictions on scientific research and development

Nowadays, there is a broad discussion about whether should government place restrictions on scientific research and development.Some argue that scientific research should be let be free situation, otherwise, scientist cannot achieve significant success. However, in my view, the government should place some degree of restrictions, while loosen the tight in the premise of be benefit for the whole society.

      Admittedly, free atmosphere is good for scientific research. Since scientists could make full use of their imaginary, creative thinking; and practice without hesitance, it is will be very benefit for innovation and getting a more vital achievement. Otherwise, if government establishes a few restrictions, they do not want to, or cannot put their profound ideas to reality. Definitely, this case would prevent the development of the science and the whole society. For example, Einstein, one of the greatest scientists in physics, attains his top of his career until he went to the United States, a free country, from Germany - a arbitrary nation at that time. It is the free atmosphere there that promotes his great idea.

       However, government could not place no restrictions and let the scientific research be totally free. Appropriate supervision is necessary. As we all know, some results of scientific research could be very profound, while others be very controversial or even detrimental to the society. For the latter, there is any reason to regulate them. Take the nuclear energy for an instance, it is a double-edged sword- a renewable energy and very helpful for human, or once it is leaked out from the factory, it would cause thousands of people injured, or it explode, the earth could be destroyed. In this case, government should take the responsibility to supervise the manufacturing and pertaining of the nuclear energy.

       Then, you may wonder, what should we do to the scientific research after all? In my mind, the government should loosen the restraint, while supervising. In addition, it should establish different policy according to different researches. Let us get down to some specific ones. To the beneficial research in any way such as solar and wind energy, we should loosen the limitation and encourage the scientist. On the other hand, putting restrictions on some controversial researches is necessary. For instance, the clone technology could produce fetus with only a parent which challenge the human's moral and ethic norm.

        It is true that scientific research need free atmosphere, but we should concern more about the possible results that they would take to us. Thus, government's restrictions and regulations are necessary for our good.

Issue 69

     Government should place few, if any, restrictions on scientific research and development

============================================================================================

Nowadays, there is a broad discussion about whether(or not) should government place restrictions on scientific research and development.Some argue that scientific research should be let be (这个表达-_-|||,换一个, how about "should be a free realm") free situation, otherwise, scientist cannot achieve significant success. However, in my view, the government should place some degree (level?) of restrictions, while loosen the tight in the premise of be benefit for the whole society.(my darling, gramma!!! this sentence make me confuse)

      Admittedly, free atmosphere is good for (呃~, is important / crucial / significant aspects for) scientific research. Since scientists could make full use of their imaginary, creative thinking; and practice without hesitance, it is will be very benefit for innovation and getting a more vital achievement. Otherwise, if government establishes a few restrictions, they do not want to, or cannot put their profound ideas to reality(我明白你的意思,但找你的意思主语应该是scientist,但现在主语是government). Definitely, this case would prevent the development of the science and (even) the whole society. For example, Einstein, one of the greatest scientists in physics, attains his top of his career until he went to the United States, a free country, from Germany - a arbitrary nation at that time. It is the free atmosphere there that promotes his great idea.(这个例子是否appropriate? I think Einstein left Germany for political protection )

       However, government could not place no restrictions and let the scientific research be totally free. Appropriate supervision is necessary. As we all know, some results of scientific research could be very  (extremely/ highly/ extraordinary/ ...) profound, while (the) others be very controversial or even detrimental to the society. For the latter, there is any reason to regulate them. Take the nuclear energy for an instance, it is a double-edged sword- a renewable energy and very helpful for human, or once it is leaked out from the factory, it would cause thousands of people injured, or it (一口气用了三个it,  咱能不能换个表达? ) explode, the earth could be destroyed.

To the beneficial research in any way ( I am lost~~) such as solar and wind energy, we should loosen (又是好几个) the limitation and encourage the scientist. On the other hand, putting restrictions on some controversial researches is necessary. For instance, the clone technology could produce fetus with only a parent which challenge the human's moral and ethic norm.( 这段结束的好突兀)

        It is true that scientific research need free atmosphere, but we should concern more about the possible results that they would take to us. Thus, government's restrictions and regulations are necessary for our good.

觉得单薄~~~

非常感谢Topran 这么耐心与细心的 修改! 我现在目标已很低了,能在考场上规定时间里写出一篇够字数的Issue。 因为水平实在不咋地。
