Hi everyone,

There is a new available position for graduate research assistant in earth sciences, IUPUI ( Indiana University ~ Purdue University, Indianapolis).

The official notice is as following:

The Department of Earth Sciences is seeking highly qualified students interested in pursuing the Master of
Science degree program with thesis option for Fall 2010. Applicants should have a strong background in
mathematics and statistics. Computer programming skills are desirable. Applicants should be interested in
the one or multiple following research areas:

1) Water Quantity/Quality Modeling (Surface water and/or groundwater),
 Numerical Analysis, Statistical Analysis, and/or GIS-based Spatial Analysis.

2) Optimization Techniques, Machine Learning techniques.

3) Environmental Risk Assessment and Management.
