Yeah, you are right. Other factors might be:
1 the ratio of international students( not only the ratio of Chinese students). I think this is very important, as it can reflect whether you would feel comfortable with the program
2. whether the students in this program are colleagial.  Are they friendly and do they like to have team-work instead of pure competition? That makes a lot of difference, esp after your graduation. Network will let you realise its importance sooner or later

大家说的都对，所以M不让我去那些临时搭架子，没有自己的固定FACULTY，历史又断的学校。
当然我们说了这两个因素，因为仅仅这两个就足以影响决定了，其他的就更不用说了。

那应该是人力学院的吧，没错，GSU是第二梯队的，如果你有更好的选择当然不来，可是如果没有，GSU的文科应该是个不错的选择呀！

But how can we know the second one before we attend the university?If we have no friends in that department.

有人说：如果没有朋友，可以在网上查现在就读人的名字，看看有没有中国人，然后试着发邮件过去问问，老美的建议是可以向admission office帮你联系一下，看看有没有同学愿意回答你的问题的。我知道很多学校，尤其是文科，都有这种传统的，就是老生在新生接到录取后，都会发个邮件过去看看他们有没有什么问题。
