TAMU是个college town，人都比较友好。
缺点是太寂寞，想玩就得去休斯顿了。

BU will be more biostatistics-oriented i guess... TAMU has a bigger department of statistics...

it's a tough call... if you prefer location, BU would be without doubt the best place to be...

actually it doesnt matter which school you'll end up in as I as I am concerned; it's really hard to say TAMU is better than BU, or the other way around.

我也没去过。。经济文教科技啥的网上都能搜的出来，很多方面都是领先的。个人感觉这州跟别的州比起来更像个独立的国家似的，TAMU毕业生在州内的networking应该会很不错，有利于毕业找工作

四月到十月底（甚至十一月）都是短袖

最热的时候，阳光下走上五分钟就到极限了，真的要晕的感觉。

TAMU就像国内的地方高校，当地影响力不错，可惜出了德州就不行了。

和数学系在一起的统计比较BT，一般都是数学占主导地位，统计也比较理论。
TAMU的统计我相信在全美都是很有名的。
