I agree with the statement that through newspapers and magazines  we can know a lot about foreign.For example, the university rank in United States, the rank of wealth in a certain country and so on. However, there also exists other methods for us to get to know something abroad. Television and internet is a wise choice for us to improve our impression on foreigner incidents .
First, it is through newspapers and magazines that we can obtain a large quantity of information of something outside. Some famous newspaper and magazines are well known around the world. For example, the <wealth>magazine, and the <time>newspaper, which always have a large influence on people far away from them, and has already became a powerful way to make people understand something happened in other countries. Nevertheless, newspapers and magazine wouldn’t be the only channel for us to aquire information abroad, there are several more efficient ways to reach that goal.

With the development of society, internet has became more and more convenient for us to utilize. It is through internet that we first get to know the 911incident which was shocking the whole world, it is through online video that we receive the important messages that send from other countries in a short time. It’s also through the network that we can convenient see what the teachers of Stanford university show in their lectures. The net connected between computers and clients just like antenna, which include every corner of the world wholely and efficiently. Internet is such an important tool nowadays for us to get to know something abroad that we cannot even lose it.

It’s the magazine and newspaper provide us with clues of incidents happened outside, and network add necessary development and explanation to those clues. With magazine and newspaper we know the part of iceberg which is exposed above the water. What’s more, with the internet we can appreciate the whole body of the huge iceberg. It’s far from communicate information only through paper medium can we handle them integratly, and only by utilizing all kinds of mediums can really help.
