"Although many people think that the luxuries and conveniences of contemporary life are entirely harmless, in fact, they actually prevent people from developing into truly strong and independent individuals."


Contemporary society is developing fast, and people can pursue the luxuries and conveniences of life style. The argument, whether this kind of life style is harm for our health and the development of society, is inevitable. Someone deems the easy and comfortable life will prevent people from shape into strong and independent individuals. This is a superficial assessment to say the least.

Why do we wallow in the cozy life? Does the well developed technology cause this? Or our own indulge into this condition? Admittedly, as the technology developing, people's life is better than in the past. And some people may think that life is short and thus carpe diem. So there are two contrasting phenomenon, on the one side, people are indulge in entertainment and revelry. On the other side, people have to toil and moil for bread. We don't consider whether is this equality, I want to know that why someone can work hard and always improve their idea? All humans are created equal; the reason may be that they don't want to improve more.

From the last discuss we can know that it is not the life prevent us to go forward, but our own don't to improve our health and psychological quality. Someone may say that after tired work they have no time to exercise, for they are too tired to do anything. That is an excuse, for they have no time to exercise, but can happy with some friends until 2:00in the morning. Some of my classmates have said to me that they were too busy in research to read some books, but I have know that they sometimes playing all night and even disturb other people's life. We always find some excuses for our lazy, and always complained have no time to exercise and study new information unless something forced us to do these.

The development of technology give us a chance to live better, have more yummy food and get information and service fast. These all make us depend on the other not do it in person. Like in school, benefit from the convenient transportation and communication, many people are dependent on their parents or friends, when encounter spiny matters, not to consider settle the problem by themselves. Some people take their dirty clothes home. For variety reasons, many people aren't fostered the sense of independence and trained strong physique.

In conclusion, the technology is just the one which can make us feel better with the word and life more comfortable, it is the people themselves who tempted by the cozy life style and forget or don't want to change and develop their life style.
