361WORDS/3HOURS 第二天写了,感觉稍微顺畅一点了,就是字数好像挺少……加油加油!~

The speaker suggests that the faculty should work outside the academic world to improve their quality of instruction at the college level and university. I tend to agree this viewpoint by three reasons.

First, if the faculties always study in the academic world, they will ignore the variation of the outside world. Fast-changing world requires professors constantly to keep up with the trend of the times. Only by this way, their research can be in the forefront of the times. Usually the knowledge of books have been behind the times, if the teachers are also behind the times, then the results of such education will be the same students who behind the times.

Second, working outside will improve their understanding of the course they teach. For each person, the theory with practice is the best way to learn. For example, learning in engineering, the experiment is essential to the learning process. Only in the experiment, we can better understand the significance of theory. Similarly, for university faculties, leaving school work experience also let them better understand the significance of books. In this way, they can better engage in teaching.

Third, the working experience will assist the teacher doing a good job to help students find their own direction. Students will understand the teacher's work experience outside the school. In this way, they can refer to the teacher's experience, good positioning themselves. In my school, every graduation season, there will be some teachers to give you to do career planning, and teachers their own work experience, often the most persuasive.

But, too much outside working will also influence their normal work. The faculties should balance the daily teaching work and the non-academic work. Today, many teachers put down the teaching to concentrate on the do some outside work, this is undesirable, although the school's work more attractive, more interest. This would tend to the whole atmosphere of the University of utilitarian, for the future development of the entire university is very unfavorable.

In sum, as long as teachers are able to arrange for appropriate, taking part in their teaching-related working outside the academic is helpful on the entire university quality of teaching.

逻辑基本清晰,其实可以再展开的大一些,比如分学科讨论,既然已经说到工程类需要外出经验,也可以再提一下非工程类学科的非必要性,学生好处可继续加深,比如合作办学,可以使成果商品化。。。这样字数不成问题。
本人语法不在行,认为ISSUE更看重逻辑,以上纯属个人观点,改的不好,见谅,】
