In a modern society, there are many ways to learn about a foreign country and different ways are particular in some one ways to transfer information for(to)- people. Some people agree with that newspapers and magazines are the best ways to learn about a foreign country because they use pictures and words to transfer information and are edited by reporter(貌似有问题，主语是？表达的意思是？). However, others don't support such (a) view because they are willing to admit TV is the most （+？） way for people to get information about other foreign countries. In my opinion, I think newspapers and magazine are good ways but not the best ways to learn about a foreign country.

Admittedly, newspaper and magazines were good ways(可以用词替换GOOD) to know other country when internet and TV were not invented. At that time, people had few ways to get information about other countries, newspaper and magazines were the best choice for people to read about a foreign country. On the one hand, newspaper and magazines were edited by reporters and editor who had been to some foreign countries, so information from newspaper and magazines should be credible and people were content to contact with such materials; on the other hand, newspaper and magazines were relatively cheap, people could afford such fees to buy them in that age. Therefore, newspaper and magazines are（第一句话用的were…前后统一下吧） good ways for people to understand other foreign countries when internet and TV were not invented.

However, people are willing to learn other foreign countries by internet and TV instead of newspaper and magazines at present. Such phenomenon is decided by characteristics of （the）internet and TV. For example, (the)internet and TV transfer information in timely, people who only need to open button(?) or website could easily get information about other countries. So people use internet and TV to get information, which are very easy and convenient.
Another character is that using internet and TV is much cheaper than using other ways to get information about other foreign countries. Therefore, such good merits decide the fact that people are willing use internet and TV instead of newspaper and magazines to learn other foreign countries at present.


Finally, newspaper and magazines could not satisfy people' need in life, which decide they could be not the best ways to learn about a foreign country. For example, newspaper and magazines reported information that are old and not reflected the present situation of a foreign country. It is inevitable that people don't like to use them to get new and timely information. What's worse,
newspapers and magazines use single ways to report information, such as words and pictures. So such shortcoming(s) of newspaper and magazines decide they are not the best ways to know other foreign countries.(如果这段的内容能更详细的展开就更完美了~)

From what has been discussed above, we may safely come to conclude that newspaper and magazines are not the best ways to understand other countries at present. On the one hand, there are many shortcomings in newspaper and magazines, which decide them not to satisfy people’s need at present; on the other hand, there are many new ways to learn other countries, such as internet, TV, and people are willing to use such ways to get information about other countries. Therefore, newspaper and magazines could be not the best ways for people to understand other foreign countries.
