本人背景：地质专业，应届毕业硕士研究生，申请学校：XXXXXX Univ. of Ohio, full financial aid including a tuition waiver and yearly stipend of 11907 US$ and a Graduate School Academic Achievement assistantship of 5000 US$ a year, also and a summer fellowship of 1600 US$ as well as summer intructional fee waiver requiring no service.

签证经历：VO——帅哥哥
6月9日：
VO: Are you going to Ohio?
ME: Yes, study for my Ph.D. degree in geology at XXXXX Univ.
VO: Now what’s your major?
ME: Geology
VO: What major will you study?
ME: Geology
VO: Why do you study in geology?
ME: I think geosciences is very interesting and I have been interested in geology ever since I was a child.
VO: Where are you studying now?
ME: XXXXXXXX
VO: What degree will you get when you graduate from this Univ.?
ME: master’s degree
VO: Then you will persue your Ph.D degree?
ME: Yeah
VO: How many univ. have you applied?
ME: only one, namely XXXXX.
VO: Why did you apply only XXXXX?
ME: my adviser of XXXXX recommended it to me. ………………………………do you want to see the supporting letters of my future adviser and ……………?
VO: yes, …. your GRE and TOEFL score reports?
ME: here you are
VO: 在电脑上敲字………….. 抬头，sorry, my computer doesn’t work now, so I couldn’t issue you the VISA, would you like to come here tomorrow? OK?
ME: All right, then I’ll have to come here again. Thank you! See you tomorrow!

ME: Morning, Sir. Glad to see you again.
VO: What did you say?
ME: Glad to see you again!
VO: 把蓝条给我，Now you can wait at Windows 10, please.
ME: 然后就去10号窗口去拿签证了。

感觉：签证官根本就没有先人们说的那么凶，停和蔼的，只要的你的理由足够充分，签证官还是愿意高抬贵手的，并且很有耐心。
感谢：首先要感谢的应该是我夫人。从开始考G/T，到申请联系学校，以至这次签证，她给了我方方面面的帮助和鼓励。其次就是我的导师，在申请过程中给我帮了很大忙。
