In this era, the society changes rapidly and our traditional ideas and values might some time conflict with the modern ones. Hence, it is in accordance to(with)1:其实with和to貌似都行,但是我觉得这里我没把意思表达出来,我想说“这样想是符合常识的”Hence, the assumption that……coincide with the common sense the common sense that tradition and modernization are incompatible, and being the participators in our society, we can only choose one of them. However, the speaker's claim, while appealing in some respects, is an over-statement at best and I totally disagree with it. In my view, tradition and modernization can benefit from each other, moreover, when we try to integrate the two, they might bring about a surprising effect.
In the first place, I must concede the existence of conflict between tradition and modernization. With the development of our science and technology, people change their traditional ideas and values gradually and significantly. People of different ages may have different opinions toward a custom, a historical event, or a famous person and we believe this phenomenon is so-called "generation gap". Consumption idea in China might serves as a proper example. Traditional consumption idea in China encourages saving, under this circumstance, whether people have a purchase plan or not should be economical and save on expenses for the unknown situation in the future. 2:whether people have extra money must be economical and save on expenses In this case, the traditional save-it-but-not-spent-it theory would hinder the process of modernization due to the prosperity economic activities required here.
Chinese traditional of saving money goes against the theory of consuming-promoted economy? active economic activities required in economic development怎么样?
however, we must be aware of that, tradition and modernization can benefit from each other. For instance, China has the Lantern Festival (元宵节应该是ending了吧?)4:什么意思?held to celebrate the New Year’s coming and which is taken as an opportunity to reunite with families as well as friends. During this day, people usually hold various lanterns and hang out in the streets, and as a tradition, they would appreciate each others' lanterns. In ancient time, people made the lanterns by themselves, considering the process is difficult and complex, we seek help from modernization. After the popularizing of mass production system, people can simply buy the lanterns. Nonetheless, it is still not perfect due to the candles in lanterns which were made of paper might easily set it off the fire( 这句感觉怪怪的,the candles in lanterns can easily set the paper made lanterns on fire? Likewise, thanks to the invention of small light bulb, in modern China, people hold the safe lanterns and enjoy this festival happily.
Moreover, when we integrate the tradition and modernization together, we might create something new. In other words, different ideas and thoughts can enlighten us to achieve(come up with, achieve应该是达到目标) a brand new idea. For instance, some bands and singers in China nowadays are trying to mix the traditional art styles such as Beijing opera and Kun opera with modern ones like rap and hip-hop. Likewise, these young and creative artists bring the traditional musical instruments into their composing. Surprisingly, they attain amazing effect and we should know that this revolutionary style is actually the mixture of tradition and modernization.(这个例子很好)
To sum up, I find(发现不好,我们发现什么东西是用find)5:兄弟,北美范文都是这么写的哦 the speaker's assertion to some extent too extreme, because tradition is not on the opposite position of modernization, and they actually represent two sorts of ideas and values. In some occasions, they would indeed conflict with each other, yet we are trying to avoid(还不如说 we need to choose between them,恰好切题,这个也没啥好avoid的,没法融合就选个合适的)6:有道理. On the other hand, they would not only benefit from each other but also create something new together. Hence, they are absolutely compatible and we can choose both of them.
