I concede the speaker’s broad assertion that socialization of children is an important influencing factor to a society; that is why socialization plays a significant role in education, especially career education. However, socialization is not a major part of both education and future of a society. The prime goal of education is to teach the children all the knowledge, including both explicit and tacit knowledge, which will actually determine the destiny of society and lead the future dominators of a country to bring about a better society.

Socialization is a significant influencing factor of a society. The concept of socialization refers to the process an individual adapting, learning, and living in a society which includes unique culture. How fast and how well the people after being educated can be socialized reflects how harmonized the society is. After being educated, the children have grown up to adults, who are powerful enough to be ready to enter the society. On the other hand, the society has been waiting for these powerful young men to build and decorate the society itself. The process of socialization is the harmonizing process for both of them. Thus such process will influence the harmonization of the society. Consequently, socialization has naturally become a significant section of education, for the children after such education can accommodate the society as fast and well as possible. 【1. 社会化（Socialization）影响社会的一个重要方面，同时也是教育在着重考察的一方面。是想两个论断找关系么？没什么必要】

Nevertheless, socialization is not the major part of education. Newton once said that the meaning of education is that the fools of this generation have more knowledge than the geniuses of last generation. The goal of education is to train talents to the society, and a most widely used standard of judging talents is the knowledge which a person has. Therefore, the prime goal of education is to beat knowledge into the children’s mind. If we put too much attention focused on socialization, although the students will accommodate the society faster and better than being educated, they will not have enough knowledge to help themselves and the society to progress. Knowledge of a society accumulates generation by generation by the function of education. With more knowledge than last generation, children of present generation will have more chance to succeed in career, which can be gathered into a progress of a society.【2. 然而，社会化不是教育的最主要目的，灌输知识才是。】
Consequently, only if the adults after being educated have enough knowledge,can they  bring about a better society. Knowledge can be separated into 2 parts: explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge. Explicit knowledge refers to the knowledge which can be expressed by language without any errors, such as theories, equations, the usage of technology, grammar, etc. Tacit knowledge, on the other hand, refers to the knowledge which cannot be presented by language, which means learners have to learn such knowledge while practicing. Such matters like ability, attitude, function of addressing affairs, etc. are all kinds of tacit knowledge. Under a generalized meaning, socialization can be treated as a kind of tacit knowledge. The responsibility of education is to teach the children explicit knowledge and, even more importantly, to train the students the tacit knowledge, which contains ability for an adult to live in the society. If only they have more knowledge, especially more tacit knowledge, than the last generation, it is not a merely dream for the children of this generation to bring about a better society.

可能 是审题吧。。这个 我也是最近才发现的。。因为 一直模考（虽然看过题目，但考试 才有感觉），审题时间很少。。我觉得要 突出自己特色。。才是关键。。有不ETS老头，一天 看得都是模板。。得气死 3# loveyumei

总之这道题让我很困惑：别的题都是一个观点，为什么这道题有两个？从跟你们的交流来看，估计大家都很困惑。

这个题目 sinbad主曾经分析过 题目是 How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society.。。既然是被动语态，那肯定就是我们（成年人）要去socialize小孩，也就是你去教育他们，但是我们不懂怎么教育他们。所以这道题的重点就是教育。并不是两个观点。第一句话只是第二句的背景知识，或者argument中的前提条件，可以选择接受也可以选择不接受，但是我个人觉得这不是这道的重点。
广义上来翻译 这道提目可以解释成孩子怎么被同化到社会中去，让他们接受普遍的社会观点，行为，伦理等等，决定了社会的未来，这么看，这个前提完全可以赞同。
