I agree the author's statement that government should put more attention to the instant problems for the immediate serious influences they may bring. Nevertheless, since the future problems would possible ruin the happiness and stability of our descendence, we should also prevent the damage. Thus, I hold the view that we should solve the instant problems threatning our life as well as keep an eye for the possible future problems influencing our offspring's life.

Instant problems, happening suddenly and seriously around us, have created hugh damages to our daily life. These horrible damages, such as exploitation of nuclear power station, wars between two countries, and porverty in certain area, have been caused by people's overlook in the process of their daily work, government's neglect to humanitarian and rescources shortage. Among these various causes could be prevented and the following influences could be eliminate while others not. How have this differnences happen?

First let us take a look at a practical and present cases. In may of this year, the Mexico Gulf spilt oil seriously which took the life of two brave workers and left us serious ocean pollution about hundreds of mile in Mexico Gulf. According to the report from TIME, the oil spilt results from the improper methods of exploitation and this threat has already been warnned by experts responsible for the safety. However, the president ordered his man to exploit the oil in order to improve the intense employment condition. While we could not blame the president for his concern on promoting our life quality, we need calm our brain down to rethink if it's correct to take a risk of losing life to change the recent embarrassment. In fact, the dillema is instant but losing one's life is forever. Thus , in this case, the problem caused by people's avarice and pluse in moment could be prevented by the sober spirits and other people's brilliant advices.

However, other problems which caused by human's adverse nature and shortage of natural rescourcs could not be prevented by the government. They are rooted deeply in human's heart and conveyed in every behavior of one people. Also, for the shortage of oil, the United States invaded in Iraq and thus caused Iraqi War. This horrible war have made Iraq’s humanitarian situation most critical in the world, with millions of Iraqis forced to rely on insufficient and poor-quality water rescources. Whereas, this brutle situation could not be prevented since there always have been the fierce competetion in the process of survive and development of human beings for the limited natural rescources. The history of human beings fulfilling conflits and wars is a most explainable evidence. Thus, even though we could invent advanced today, we could not recreate the human nature and prevent the wars.
Yet, some of the future problems would be prevented through a few efforts we have done. As “a little change of a bad habits in the childhood, a great accomplishment we may achive in the adult”, a little consideration we have thought for the future, we could prevent some unreversal damage in the future. For example, if we could advocate all the factorie in the world reduce the eduction of the exhaust and carbon dioxide, the terrible phenonmena in TOMMORA may be prevented. Similarily, if we could research in the stem cells and make the appropriate use of it, we may conquer the rare diseases, for instance, anemia, hemophilia, leukemia and the like in the future and thus largely improve the life quality.

In conclusion, I belive that we should solve the immediate dellima while have an eyesight for the future.
