【i原文】Several centuries ago, Ablahan Lincoln once asserted, ""
Athough it is just an sentence in the past, it is worth discuss nowadays, even in the future. The speaker, totally agreed with the fomer president of America.
Similarly, I acknowledge the positive effect of the assertion. However, nowadays, regardless of the reputation of Lincoln, in the complex environment, there is some flaws in the sentence.
Whatever the goal is, and whatever the means to attain it is, it doesn't guarantree the overcome is worthy, let alone promoting the progress of the society. In my perspective, the goal and means will be reevaluated, when the consequence comes out. In sum, what we should do, making the best advantage of brainstorm,is to ensures the final result accepted by the society, which propelling the society to develop steadily.
Firstly, the to attain the same goal, there are different ways, whose validity depends on the specific environment. For example, to gain the peace, Franly Rovselt and "Massaha" Gandhi, choose their own different ways. To stop the aggression of Germany and Janpan, President F.Rosvoot, sending American army to all the important areas, including Europe and Pacific. However, as the biograhy of ^, shows to beat the Japanese army. The navy also do some trick, such as ^ and insulting the Japanese soliders. It is hard to imagine America can stop the world invade by the Fressa, without these tricks, so-called injustfiable. However, none blamed the soliders and the president for these unjustiable behaviour. Compared with Rosvoot, Gandhi, the Buddist, advocated "invoilece uncooperation". By the way of ^starving, Gandhi gained the respect of Indians and even the official of England, which finally lead the India to peace and independance. In sum, whatever the the means are, if the final overcome are to benefit the society, the evaluate of the means will be changed.

In addition, sometimes sticking to the justifiable means will lead to disarster of the society. The justifiable means is just a small part of the whole stradegy^. Only choosing the justifiable means limit the behaviors of us, even make the goal a failure. If we chose Gandhi as the president of America, instead of F.R, Gandhi must fail to send army to fight with Germany and Janpan, because he opposites the voilence, which is unjustiable to him. Then, without the assistant and support of America, England and France would lack enough army to fight with Germany and Japan. And Hilter would not will be
moved by Gandhi's starvng, even waiting. It would be obvious now we must be under the control of the Fessia, which lead the society to the infinite darkness. In conclusion, sometimes the limit set by the sticking to justifiable means, fail to lead to the society to a positive direction.
With the globalization and communication of the culture, there exist more and more values, which makes the judgement of justice varies from individual. If we are still limited by the Lincoln's assertion, the overcome may be the chaos of the society. As the different definitions of justice, everyone has a different reason to achieve their goal in this way or not. For example,
In sum
【i修改】Several centuries ago, Abraham Lincoln once asserted, "When an end is lawful and obligatory, the indispensable means to it are also lawful and obligatory"
Although it is just a sentence in the past, it is worth discussing nowadays, even in the future. The speaker totally agrees with the former president of America.
Similarly, I acknowledge the positive effect of the assertion. However, nowadays, regardless of the reputation of Lincoln, in the complex environment, there is some flaws in the sentence.
Whatever the goal is, and whatever the means to attain it is, it doesn't guarantee the overcome is worthy, let alone promoting the progress of the society. In my perspective, the goal and means will be reevaluated, when the consequence comes out. In sum, what we should do, making the best advantage of brainstorm, is to ensures the final result accepted by the society, which propelling the society to develop steadily.
Firstly, to attain the same goal, there are different ways, whose validity depends on the specific environment. For example, to gain the peace, Franklin Roosevelt and "Mahatma" Gandhi, choose their own different ways. To stop the aggression of Germany and Japan, President F. Roosevelt, sent American army to all the important fighting areas, including Europe and Pacific. However, the memoir of Eugene Sledge, a solider surviving the Pacific War, shows to beat the Japanese army, the navy also do some tricks, such as attacking from the back
and insulting the Japanese soldiers. It is hard to imagine America can stop the world invade by the fascism, without these tricks, so-called unjustifiable. However, none blamed the soldiers and the president for the unjustifiable behavior. Compared with Roosevelt, Gandhi, a Buddhist, advocated "non-cooperation, non-violence and peaceful resistance". By the way of hunger strike, Gandhi gained the respect of Indians and even the official of England, which finally lead the India to peace and independence. In sum, whatever the means are, if the final overcome are to benefit the society, the evaluation of the means will be revised.
In addition, sometimes sticking to the justifiable means will lead to disaster of the society. The justifiable means is just a small part of the whole strategy. Only choosing the justifiable means limit the behaviors of us, even make the goal a failure. If we chose Gandhi as the president of America, instead of F.R, Gandhi must fail to send army to fight with Germany and Japan, because he opposites the violence, which is unjustifiable to him. Then, without the assistant and support of America, England and France would lack enough army to fight with Germany and Japan. And Hitler would not be moved by Gandhi's hunger strike, even waiting. It would be obvious now we must be under the control of the fascism, which lead the society to the infinite darkness. In conclusion, sometimes the limit set by the sticking to justifiable means fail to lead to the society to a positive direction.
With the globalization and communication of the culture, there exist more and more values, which makes the judgment of justice varies from individual. If we are still limited by the Lincoln's assertion, the overcome may be the chaos of the society. As the different definitions of justice, everyone has a different reason to achieve their goal in this way or not. For example, the terrorists believe that the behavior of “suicide bomber” is the justifiable way to build the ideal society. If more and more people are convinced with the same belief, there may be only the sound of exploration in the world- the ideal world in their eyes. The example may be exaggerative; however, these things will happen if we still stick the old sentence.
In sum, to guarantee the overcome is worthy, promoting the progress of the society, we should freed ourselves from the old sentence, achieve our goals by the most suitable method. (643)
