        Today,society has experienced  great changes in many respects.On agriculture,high-technology was used to promote the productivity of farming and saved a large amount number people who were in danger of hunger;On industry,various electronic appliances were invented and applied into our daily lives.Technological advancement solvs many problems and indeed improved our lives,however,some problems continue to bother our humans such as environmental pollution,the depletion of resources,race conflict,
terrorism and so forth.some people argue that we need to take real effort and courage to solve these problems by making things as simple as possible.
       To begin with,making thing samller and simple form bigger and complex one plays a vital role in solving problems.With this way,we can do things more efficiently.It is no doubt that the thing is easier to be done if it is smaller than that of a bigger one.Take the program as an example,everyone know the program is boring and sometimes a hard task to perform,especially the bigger and complex one such as the Google search engine programe.In contrary,the small one is not this situation,such as a small function of output which is very easy even for beginners.
       In addition,we can divide the bigger or more complex things into several smaller and simple ones which can be addressed easily.In software course,students are usually assigned a bigger and complex program at the end of each term.how should they do?As I have experienced,I splited it into several smaller and more simple ones and compiled one by one and integrated them together at last and then compiled it as a whole.This,I believe,is not the best way but the efficient way to do things.
      However,we can not oversplit things so that they lose their original meanings or importance.Sometimes,it is indispensible to do things from a whole perspective.It is common in the software company that a large project is divided into several little program assigned to each staff.the program should allow each staff know the whole project,so that they can compile it according the standards which are different in different project and the program can be compatible.
     In sum,it is a case by case thing that how we do things ,whether make them a whole or make them splits, is depended on the nature of the things.there is no fixed standards which help us to determine how to do,therefore,what we need to do is to seek a balance between the bigger,complex thing and several smaller,simple parts of it.
