                      The best way to improve the quality of the education in a country is to increase teacher’s salary?

It is generally acknowledged that teachers are one of the most important factors that determine the quality of education,
I fundamentally agree that increasing the teachers’salary is beneficail for the development of education, however it is too haste to conclude that it is the best way and the most important part that determine the quality of education, lots of other factors may have significant influence on the quality of education.

Initialy, I conceive that increasing the salary of teachers can greatly stimulate the development of education. To begin with, the working passion and the enthusiasm towards educaton can be greatly enhanced through increasing the teachers’salary, thus leading to the improvement of the quality of education. In addition, a large number of talented and knowledgeable people can be attracted into the field of education, thus becoming the essential impetus of the development of education. An exact example is that nowadays in china lots of university graduates are willing to devote their strength to education as a result of the improving of the teachers’sarlary.

Nevertheless, it is too haste to summarize that improving the sarlary of teachers is the best way to improve the quality of education. There are still many other factors that affect the development of education and may be more important and emergent than increasing the teacher’s salary, for instance the facility of the school, the leadership of the school as well as the attitudes of the public towards education. Paragons like this come immediately to my mind, imaging that the teachers all have a high salary in a university, but the university have very poor and limited experiment conditions, students have no access to do experiment, it is not that difficult to perceive that the quality of education in the university cannot be truly improved.

What is worse if the leaders in a university are keen on politics and entertainment, pay little attention on the university’s education, then there must be many of his subordinates who try all kinds of means to entertain the leaders, thus getting more benefits. Is it possible that the education in such a universtiy develop though all teachers gain a high salary?

For my part, I hold that more money should be spent to improve the salary of teachers to enhance their passion towards education, however it never means that advanced facilities and effective leaders are less important. What we need to do is to strike a balance between all of the possible reasons that may affect the quality of education.
