"Of the two leading real estate firms in our town—Adams Realty and Fitch Realty—Adams is clearly superior. Adams has 40 real estate agents. In contrast, Fitch has 25, many of whom work only part-time. Moreover, Adams' revenue last year was twice as high as that of Fitch, and included home sales that averaged $168,000, compared to Fitch's $144,000. Homes listed with Adams sell faster as well: ten years ago, I listed my home with Fitch and it took more than four months to sell; last year, when I sold another home, I listed it with Adams, and it took only one month. Thus, if you want to sell your home quickly and at a good price, you should use Adams."

1、Adams superior to Fitch的判断依据即论据没有说服力：
（1）、两家公司规模不一样，作者假设规模大的就好的是不成立不公平的，并且part-time在房地产行业很常见，只是公司实现盈利最大化的一种用人方式，但并不是说这样就没有充分时间来解决客户的卖房问题，否则公司明知这种运作模式不能按时完成客户要求还要去做，岂不是明知山有虎偏向虎山行，没有哪个公司会冒这样的险
（2）、不能拿last year一年的情况来说明问题，并且Adams税收多还是因为它规模大，也不能构成公平的比较条件
（3）、公平地去比较，Adams规模是将近Fitch的两倍，如果前者卖家产经营很好的话，他家的平均营业额应该是后者$144,000的将近两倍$288,000才对而显示数据显示仅$168,000
（4）、个人的一次经历不一证明，更何况时隔九年，变化的因素太多（国家政策改变导致房地产行业营运模式变化、人们产生新的消费观念如投资、两家公司状况今非昔比etc.）
2、结论前提是作者的假设：Adams superior to Fitch，经以上分析可知假设并不一定成立

提纲：
1. agent & work time不能显示出一个公司的质量。其次，作者没给出A公司的兼职agent数量，和F就无法对比。
2． 只是单纯说A的销售好于B，但每个agent的销量不明，不能判断agent的工作效率。
3．  用上一年的数据来说明A在revenue和average sale price上优于F是欠考虑的。首先，两个公司的规模，销售房屋档次，目标顾客消费水平，市场状况都可以影响房屋销售情况。其次，一列举一年也是不够的。
4． 最后，作者用自己的例子来说明，是没有代表性的。且时间跨度太大，影响因素太多， 不能真实反映A和F的对比。
5． 所以，既然作者无法提供有关A.F.公司销售效率和价格的全面信息，结论中sell your home quickly和at a good price都是没有可行性的。
