题目：It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledgegained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, whichsource is more important? Why?

正文：
Frankly speaking, I treat both sourcesimportant since both of them help me to gain valuable knowledge and skills tobetter live in the modern world.

When I was a young baby, mom and dad taughtme how to use chopsticks and I learned it well from practice. Its’ daily experiencewhich taught me how to pick up them and use them to get my food but not somechopstick using books as l learned the skill of using chopsticks earlier thanreading. In addition, I learned to tell different colors before I went to a kindergartenbecause my parents always told me that the grass is green, the sun is red andthe leaves in the fall is yellow. Then I got my own experience by frequentlyspeaking out the color of an object that I saw. In fact, experiences teach me alot even after I grow up, such as the shortest way from my dormitory to theclassroom, the skill to apologize with sincere and the way to make my belovedones happy, etc.

Though it seems that knowledge gained fromexperience is important, it’s doesn’t mean that it’s more important thanknowledge gained from books. Books are somewhat other people’s experience whichyou may not have a chance to go through. From novels we can get throughromantic love stories such as Romeo and Juliet and get to know the darkness ofthe old times and the beauty of the two fighting for love. From sciencefictions we can get to know the future world of people’s imaginary. Forinstance, Ruler’s great works showed us his idea of the future world withrockets and which comes true later. From travelling dairies we can have a tripwith the author without stepping out of our room. Knowledge gained from booksis different from that we get from experience for they are more organized andmixed with others’ opinions.

Given this condition, we cannot say whichone weighs more importance, knowledge get from experience or knowledge get frombooks. However, I always found in practice that I had to have a try of what wassaid in books to test if it was true. And it apparently helped me gainexperience for my future life. Meanwhile, sometimes I also found my experienceinteresting so I wrote it down in my blog and share it with my friends.

All in all, the two source of gainingknowledge are both very important and only through combining the two ways ofgetting knowledge can I get to know more and better about the world.
