一个非典型问题请教

米国的R校和我现在的学校关系挺好， 我的一个好友正在那读研（他的专业也是我要申请的专业）。今日他在facebook上给我传了个小道消息，说系主任12月来我学校，让我好好把握机会。12月正是投资料的时候（ps,作品集什么的）。
我现在能想到的就是到时约她给她看看作品，或者材料直接就交她？！ 大家有这样的经历么，怎么弄比较好？！谢谢各位！

let her take a look at your stuff, and give you  some feed back-----probably the best thing you can do... don't give her directly, she is not in charge...and she doesn't know you that well so she probably not going to write any thing for you
