2 Although there is no evidence to prove the people lived in P had boat at that time,it doesn't necessarily mean they actually didn't have boats.
3 Even though the boat that can carry groups of people were made possible thousand years later,the people in P may created other ways to send things across the river,or they made small boats which can only take one person and a few goods.
