Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: the telephone has greater effects on people than television.

As we all know ,telephone has played a significance role in people's life nowadays .We use telephone to communicate with each other and if one has no telephone others may find it very hard to contact with him .Hence telephone has undoubtly affected people's life and work .However ,when comes to the topic the telephone has greater effects on people than television ,I can not totally with it because in my point of view the influence that television does on people is no less than telephone .

To begin with ,there is no denying that the advertisements that we see from television have greatly affected us when we are on shopping .Those what we have heared and looked for many times in the television must have left a deep impression in our mind more or less ,thus when we are choosing goods ,we will pay more attention to those things and we are more likely to buy them ,no matter whether they are really as good as what the advertisement said.

And then ,apart from what I have mentioned above, another important effect that television does is for children .With the television becoming more and more popular it is no rare to see a only five-years child reciting the advertisement words very skillful ,or several boys and girls imitating the person in the television program to do something such as a couple are quarrelling with each other and they even do not know what they are doing .

What's more ,television are also one of the most popular ways for people to do entertainment and get information ,especially for those who are not able to use computer or telephone such as the old and kids .The variety kinds of interesting television programs accompany them though the leisure time and the news broadcast can provide them a lot of information about what the world are going on .

With so many aspects listed above ,doesn't television have a significant impact on people's life ?

To begin with ,there is no denying that the advertisements that we see from television have greatly affected us when we are on shopping(貌似记得NCE3上ad. 的影响是subtle的，题外话) .Those what we have heared and looked for many times in the television must have left a deep impression in our mind more or less,thus when we are choosing goods ,we will pay more attention to those things and we (去掉) are more likely to buy them ,no matter whether they are really as good as what the advertisement said.

还有，一边倒的写法固然好写一些，

不过觉得对比着写在某些情况下更能说明问题

In this set of materials ,the reading passage introduced about a mandatory policy which would benefit the economy as a whole as well as the individual companies .While in the following lecture ,the professor refutes the conclusion from the reading passage by employing different reasons .

To begin with ,the professor claims that the shortened workweek would cut in the company profits which fully rejected the points in the reading passage .According to the professor ,employees will spend more even a lot more on their works ,and hiring more staff will need more space and computers ,while the writer says the employees can feel more rested and hiring more staff would not result in
additional payroll costs.

And then ,the professor refutes the point from the reading that the primary would reduce unemployment rates ,from the writer's logical that if many full-time employees started working fewer hours thus their workload would have to be shifted to others .However ,the professor says in order to save money the company will let the employees to work overtime to do the five days work and no more wok will be created .

Finally ,the writer consider a four-day workweek would improve the quality of employees' lives by spending the extra time with their families , in contrast ,the professor says the four-day employees may have less chance to get promoted and are more likely to lose their jobs .

Someone plays sports in order to relieve the stress from work and study ,someone holds the purpose of doing exercise and as well as making their body stronger ,and also someone just for entertainment. But for the factor whether playing sports can teacher us more about the life different person may have their unique points, as far as I am concerned, I couldn't agree more with it for the following reasons.: Q5 W5 ^& R& K7 A
First of all, there is no denying that we can comprehended the meaning of cooperation and teamwork in a sport. That is to say, we can learn about how to deal with our partners through playing sports, which is of great importance in our daily life. Take basketball for example, a wonderful shot is not a person's achievement or honor ,but the result of the whole team's effort and cooperation .This is the same truth in our work and daily interactions .

Apart from the one I have mentioned above ,another important aspect we can learn from the sports is persistence and diligence. The famous basketball star, Kobe, has said,” do not touch the ball one day that have no grow one day(这样翻译不知道对不对？看不懂妳想表達什麼
妳應該寫錯了) " which is taken as the truth by a lot of basketball lovers, however not only basketball but almost everything have the same reason ,thus persistent hard-working is what we should not forget in life time as well in a sport .'
What's more ,by playing sports can also temper our willpower which help us to be more suitable for the society .In a sports competition we can enjoy the happiness of win and feel the sad of lose ,and we will understand that victories and defeats are ordinary things in our long road of life.. b; C, F6 W7 ^8

With so many advantages of playing sports ,no wonder so many people are fond of it and it will remain popular in the following years
