For an individual, the study of history can provide one with encouragement, inspiration, precep and rich one's perception in the road of live.(生活的路上好中式啊哈哈) However, some people may underestimate the value of studying history when it comes to some field which is not directly related to their daily life, such as politics, society, and anthropology. In fact, they are even more closely-related and valuable for our mankind.  

To begin with, one can get infinite（我感觉搭配不太恰当） inspiration and valuable advises through learning about meaningful stories about historical figures and events. Great scientists and inventors, such Newton, Faraday, and Watt, as well as their tortuous exploration and great achievement encourages students or scholars to devote themselves to academic research and develop innovative inventions; and we can get ambition and inspiration from those brave pioneers' legends to establish our own business or even break a new ground; also, the prestigious figures in history instill us with their noble quality and personality charm（人格美丽好像不是这么说的把 乖乖的）, and indicate us how be become respected （respecting）individuals through our own efforts; further, we also draw lessons from historical figures' failure to admonish ourselves not to follow the old road to ruin.（old road 是指时间久远的路呵呵不恰当 别太中式了）
The history of scientific and technological evolution can act as a perfect textbook for the future development. To take the establishment of the population theory as a（n） instance, it is Malthus's work, "the principle of population", pioneered this field, after that, other point of views such as the theory of population explosion, the population theory of Marx and neo-malthusian population theory were put forth, after a long period of confliction and integration, as well as the participation of calculus and statistics, the incipient theory has been greatly modified and get considerable progress. By studying such history about how did a discipline to evolve to become a mature one through the processes of establishment, modification, differentiation and integration, researchers can get real and guiding reference for their academic work. For another example, the numerous failure of building perpetual motion tells us that anything against the objective truth could never come true, the respect of science（对生活的尊重 是吧 别太中式了） is the foundation upon which we human civilization developed.

In addition, we can get value（valuable） recognition with our compatriots through learning the history of our ethnic group. Each ethnic has been existed on the earth for thousands of years, and formed our distinctive （unique）culture. By retrospection of how did our family ancestors migrated, settled and start their life here, we generate a sense of responsibility and pride for our family. Further, in a broader perspective, by learning about the long-term formation of our tradition, mores, religion belief and etiquette, we can have a real understanding of our national value and character, at the same time, we are instilled with a sense of patriotism, and motivated to carry forward such valuable heritage and culture to the future.

Finally, reviewing the history of politics and military provided the whole world with the most significant guidance for peace and democracy. To cite an example, the triumph of War of Independence declared to the world that people should have their right and courage to fight for national independence; while the failure of Hitler and his empire attest to that, any attempt and outrage committed against humanity will surely end up in defeat. And myriad debacles of autocracy and one-party state admonish to us that any regime maintained by centralizing rule and coercion can never last for long time. Democracy as well as the guarantee for human rights is the foundation of a nation's long-term prosperity.

From what has been discussed above, obviously, to study the history to the extent that is relevant to daily life could be beneficial for individual's daily life. However, we should not bring history studying to a standstill of low level, in macro perspectives, the study of history about the fields such as culture, science, politics and military can provided （provide）more far-reaching and significant value for the development of human civilization. In turn, indirectly, such macro effects will eventually change everyone's life.
