The author asserts that students would benefit more from an education that teaches them to explore their own emotions than one that emphasizes the capacity of reasoning and logical thinking only. The author implies that nurturing emotions and feelings in more important than developing reasoning capacity. I concede that nowadays educational systems overlook the cultivation of emotions, yet both emotions and reasoning capacity are equally important to the development of students.

The capacity for reasoning logical thinking is important in natural sciences, particularly in engineering, mathematics and physics. In these realms which deal with numbers and logic, every research gets done through reasoning and logical thinking, instead, emotions and feelings at the most time lead to the wrong way. Besides, even in arts, it is necessary to have the capacity for reasoning and logical thinking, for beginning students must learn basic theories and technics to apply to their craft.

The exploration of emotion also have benefits for one who wants to be successful. Education of emotions helps students enrich their characteristics and enhance their comprehensive qualities, which in turn help them be a good person among family and friends. In addition, education of emotions helps students become not afraid to express their feelings and express them with reason, logic and reality, and not the slave to the negative emotion as fear, worry and guilt, and thereby learn to face setback and failure  bravely,  and deal with problems calmly. Even in natural sciences, rich emotion and imagination can promote inspiration and new discoveries. Theory of Relativity by Albert Einstein is a good example of  imagination of flying along with light.

Both exploration of emotions and capacity of reasoning and logical thinking are the two important aspects of one's development, while nowadays most educational systems overemphasize the development of students' capacity of reasoning and logical thinking while for the most part ignoring their emotional health. This undoubtedly results in serious problems such as lack of creativity, introversion, or eccentricity. An educational system should establish a balance between educating capacity of reasoning and logical thinking and exploration of emotions.

依然沿用老的辩证的思路来写，是可以的，不过论证部分不太给力。
Lz文章正就写logical thinking的重要性，反就写education of emotion的重要性，有些单调。
建议写这种文章最好有一定的倾向，例如我们承认两方面都重要，假设我们偏向反方，这样可以先在正方的角度努力论证正方的观点，然后转折，再以反方的角度论证，这样有什么好处呢，就是写反方的时候只要努力举反例就可以反驳正方的观点，例如你这里写加强education of emotion的好处很难有例子，但是缺乏education of emotion的缺点却很容易找到。
我只是给一个角度来丰富文章，300+的字数太少了，而且首尾两段还有凑字数的嫌疑。
