The argument is persuasive, but has several facts being questionable. By citing the result of a new report, assessing the effect of a kind of ‘painkiller’ on a group of men and women, the argument that Kappa opioids(KO) is more suitable for women than men, and all medications should reevaluate their effect if tacking sex factor into account seems logical.

However, the given report failed to consider other possible reasons that caused the different feedback between men and women after taking KO. Such alternatives may include their ages, physical situations, and the endurance on pain. It’s possible that this group of women had experience in some similar pain treatment while these men first took such kind of operation. Perhaps women have been used to pain as most of them may have endured the pain of childbearing, thus the pain of extracting wisdom teeth seems less severity. Taking other factors into account, the report should contain more exact evidence to support this argument.

The arguer also assumes that KO has the same effect dealing with all kind of pain and drew the conclusion that women should take KO whatever kind of pain they meet while men should take another. However, the report is based on wisdom teeth exacted and only using 'KO'(just one of thousands kinds of painkillers).It doesn't mean the result of report will be the same in other kind of pain or using another kind of pain medicine. No proof suggests that KO is the best painkiller for women, so it’s possible that, in some situation for women, KO may do less help while another could make them feel better. Moreover, though KO may have finite effect on men’s pain dealing with wisdom teeth exacted, it’s possible that KO is the best choice for men to relieve their pain as no other medicine has more effect. If the study could contain other kind of pain situation and test more painkillers, the conclusion may be more reasonable.

Finally, even if the conclusion is right in the field of pain medicines, the argument is weakened by the fact that it fail to consider the difference between pain medicines and other medications, as one medication’s cardinal principle may largely distinguish from others. While human body is a complicated system consisted by several apparatus, each kind of medication will have its own target to solve certain problems. Thus, the result of report on painkiller may not be true when discussing other medicines. It's too assertive to test all medications to reevaluate their affect on men versus women so that I suggest doing this research in a certain kind of medication first. Before a detail report on such medications, it may waste fund and time to research all known medicines.

In summary, the report used in article are lacking in proper direction considering their assertions and detail information. Therefore, further examination and modification on the effect of medication must be done so that the conclusion could be reached.
