I fundamentally agree with the speaker’s assertion that the children are the future of our society. However ,how they are socialized today is not the only factor to determine our society destiny ,and most of us ,either the parents or the society, have leaned how to raise children in spite of the fact that we still fail to protect children in all aspects.
First of all, we should know how the social level of children means. In my view, the level of how children are socialized means the level of people assimilating into the society, the ability to tackle the problems with the help of people in society or the help of public source. For instance, when you are immersed in the dispute over obligation , if you ever succeed in seeking help from your friends or the justice system. That ability is the most incomparably part of one person’s survive in a society. But, it does not necessarily indicate that our society’s destiny is totally depends on the socialized level of children. Other abilities, such as innovation capacity, are also essential to the continual development of children as well as our society. For example, without the innovations in transportation ,maybe we would never find the new continent, let alone the surprisingly rapid development of the Industrial Evolution.
There is no denying the fact that many phenomenon in our society still pose a potential threaten to our children’s health growing. Along with great stride made by the internet technology, all sorts of websites have appeared during recent years, including some websites flooded with violence, sexual alluring and bloody contents, which causes the children to imitate and contributes indirectly to the society rampant violence. Besides the influence from the internet ,many parents are fail to take a good care for their children owning to the busy business, the pressure of surviving and the desperation to achieve a successful career.
Although we can’t ignore the negative phenomenon which are harmful to the health growing of children, I still have confidence in this society that we should and be able to raise our children under a undisturbed and health environment. To attain this goal, censorship has been found and accepted by the public to prevent children from the useless and harmful information. In addition, interest class is considerably popular across the cities so that it makes a contribution to develop the personality of children and children can be imparted with much more useful knowledge , and in the meantime, their parents would never worried about their children when they are forced to work late. Moreover, our schools don’t judge a student by academic scores at all and provide a wide range of courses , focusing on the individual interest of children.
One great man once said, education changes a man’s destiny. I believe every parent in our society, as well as the government ,has the ability to offer a good environment to children, in which our children can not only learn how to be socialized but also learn how to bring our society a better and more bright future.
