The argument contain several facts that are questionable. First, the argument assume a conclusion only bases on a special case.  In addition, the various differences between small, nonprofit hospital in Saluda and large, for-profit hospital nearby Megaville are open to question. The argument also fails to examine the treated patients' diversity.I will discuss each of these facets in turn.

Obviously, any assertion without strong evidences is unreasonable and unpersuasive. However,in the report the author infer that treatment is less economical and of worsen quality in larger, for profit hospital only depend on a particular comparing between two hospitals. Although I cannot accurately inform the quantity of the represented two types of hospital, I can totally confirm that the inference which bases on only one case would be intensely disarranged by uncertain sample selection. For a extreme instance, all the samples in this kind of comparing have the opposite consequence.

Moreover, the facts in this special comparing are unpersuasive to prove it. The report states that the average patient stay is longer, the cure rate among patients is lower, the employees per patient is less and complaints are more in larger, profit hospital than these in smaller, nonprofit hospital, but these are only certain aspects among the judgement of whether a hospital's treatment is economical or not. Furthermore, these facts themselves is unreasonable because regardless of the various difference between two kind of hospital. Cure rate may reduce by extensive treating areas in larger hospital, and average patient stay will abridge since no other than elementary healing items in smaller hospital.

On the other hand, the lack of explaining the diversity of patients enlarge the unreason of the facts in the report. The background of the two cities are untold,so no given evidence shows that patients in Saluda are similar to these in Megaville. Saluda perhaps is a industrialize city  whose citizens have higher possibility to get diseases difficult to cure, while Megaville, an agriculture city, healthier whose citizens might be. Therefore, we cannot make a wise comparing between hospitals before considering the differences of the patients in two cities.

Overall, basing on a special case is the ultimate illogic of the conclusion that nonprofit, smaller hospital is better. Moreover, the special case fail to establish reasonable compares. For instance, the condition of the patients in  two cities and the treating areas in two hospitals are not mentioned, from which we can point out countless blunders.
