As the development of our society, many new ideas and value came to our lives, while some people do not want to accept them. Normally, eople always consider that tradition and modernization are incompatible so that to follow tradition or modernization has become a question for so long that bothers people and makes them confused. However, tradition and modernization have never been apart, and in the contrary, they are related with each other and make effect not only by itself but also by themselves commutatively. We, people, had never only one choice between tradition and modernization.

Admittedly, tradition and modernization seem like two different kinds of methods of expression. People always think tradition as an old, conservative thought, which contains almost the past trite ideas and could never be used in the new daily lives; while the others consider tradition as merits of the former culture, history, arts and other regions. People who choose to be loyal to tradition can't take the polytropical changes and the inadaptable ideas while the others consider those as original and significant. One belongs to the past; the other belongs to the present. That was why people divide them into two different parts.

However, never had we thought about their relations. Surprisingly, the truth is that modernization did just come from tradition, and it is the translation and transformer of the tradition with some new materials or some new methods. Only if there's tradition to be the foundation, the modernization could have its stage. In other words, tradition kept the merits of the past, just like a shifter of the thousands years. Through tradition, people see the most important parts of the former lives. By the same time that some people try to keep them in the original ways but some choose to explain it in their own ways. And, the former people are traditional and the latter modern. Nevertheless, all of the ideas and ways are just the same thing, the culture we owned. Thus, argument about choose which one between them are completely unnecessary.

When we watch the modern fancywork, we usually can see the models wearing up clothes in sometimes traditional, sometimes modern, sometimes mix tradition and modernization style. We had never questioned about why the designer had never chose only one side. We had never liked just only one kind and hated the others. We had never even thought about the tradition thing or the modernization thing. Why? Because we accept a thing in an appreciative way, we could find its advantages and its beauty, rather than the unpleasant respects. That the tradition and modernization ought to be, and that’s what most people had forgotten.

Therefore, keeping traditional without placing aside modernization, pursuing to modernization without trying to be traditional would be the best choice. The tradition shows us the most beautiful parts of the former lives; we take them; so that our lives could be as beautiful as them. The modernization brings us new ideas, new thoughts, and new theories, from which we could be more creative and become the maker of our own lives. We read the Bible, and believe that there is a place upper called paradise; we drive the cars, and trip all around the world, enjoy what the modernization brought us. See, what a happy and enjoyable life it would be while we choose both tradition and modernization.

To sum up, modernization came from tradition; tradition is the original and source of modernization. What's more, tradition keeps the merits of the former culture; modernization transforms it into another kind of ways that some people would prefer. We are never given the question to choose between them, yet the real problem is how to join them in a better way and let them show their best respects.
