With the rapid development of people's paceof lives, more and more concern about efficiency has generated. A lot ofcompanies value both speed and correction. However, some people hold the viewthat either correct rate or speed can be ignored when people do their job. Frommy perspective, I cannot agree with these people. I deem that both virtues are indispensableand should be encouraged.
On the one hand, to work quickly enjoys anumber of advantages over lower effective works in the modern society. It isgenerally acknowledged that time is one of the most precious things in theworld. Therefore, to save time is to save our lives. The benefits of workingquickly are numerous. If every employee in a company work(works)quickly, it will provide more time for thecompany to accomplish more achievements in the extratime(有点重复) thus helping acompany become more competitive. For example, workers in a factory of Beijingmanufacturing automobiles can complete 20 everyday. In the same amount of time, employees in an automobile factory in Shanghaiare able to produce the 40 of same type of (the sametype but 40) cars. Thus, the cost of eachcar in Shanghai is half of the price in Beijing. Therefore, the factory inShanghai is able to double the profits.
On the other hand, the effects of makingmistakes in several of(多余) fields are terrible. If the results of slow working rate are justlowering the profits and increasing the cost to a company. The consequence ofmaking mistakes might sometimes be disaterious. Still take the example of thetwo automobile factories to illustrate this point. If the factory in Shanghaienhance their working speed at the expence of risking making mistakes, theirproducts are very likely to contain serious errors or deficits. If one of theircustomers drive their car and unfortunately die of traffic accident justbecause of the some of(not fluent) the mistakesmade in producing the car, the factory will not only destroy its brand, butalso shouder(shoulder) the legal and finacial responsibility for the accident.Consequentely, the cars produced by the factory in Shanghai can hardly regainits costomers.
In conclusion, the wise choice is tobalance speed and rate of mistakes. People should value both of them and make areasonable compromise between the two values. After all, high speed of work helps enlarging the profits andlowering the mistake rates leads to better quality.
