In the lecture, the professor claims that the new guideline has greatly improved the situation for archaeology in Britain in the twentieth century. She also refutes the three serious problems and limitations in the reading passage respectively.

First, she points out that every new building site need to be invested by archaeologists
before construction to find out if there are archaeologically precious artifacts . If there are antiques, the builders, archeaologists and the government officers should discuss together to plan to excavate the site or to build beside.

Second, the speaker disagrees with the low financial funds for archeaological research stated in the reading passage. She shows that there is a new funding policy in the new guideline. The policy states that archologists should be paid by construction companies for examing the sites.  你当注意到 我删掉了一些内通

Third, the speaker also adds that there are so many jobs for archaeologiests than(比较级 前面应当用more) the past that they don't have to worry about the career as the reading passage presented. All stages of building new sites need archealogists including examing the site, working out a presevation plan, processing data and writing articles. The demand for professional archeaologists is increasing.

The reading passage claims that the population of birds will decrease for three reasons whereas the prefessor thinks
all of the reasons are unconvincing.

First, the professor deems that it is inappropriate to say that the number of all species of birds will decline due to the expansion of human activity. Although she admits the expansion of human settlements is bad for some species of birds, she points out that cities may be better and larger for other kinds of birds. In other words, the decreasing of birds' habitats is not uniformly declining.

Second, in contrast to the statement that agricultual development will destroy the birds' habitats, the professor holds opposide opinion.我觉得这边既然前面说了in contrast to，后面直接亮the pros.的观点就好。 She demonstrates that the land for agriculture will decrease in spite of the increasing need for agricultural products in the United States. She adds that there will be new and more productive crops to satisfy people's need. As a result, the production of crops per unit of land will increase and eliminate the need for more land.

Third, the professor refutes the use of pesticides will kill lots of birds. She acknowledges that the traditional pesticides did have killed many birds, but we can't expect the future based on history. She introduces two major changes of the agriculture. First, new pesticides are less poisonous to birds. Second, since new crops are pest-resistant, the reliance for chemical pesticide is declined. Thus, the population of birds will not be damaged by chemical pesticides in the future.

Everyone in the society should adapt themselves in an appropriate occupation to contribute to the society and satisfy their own physical and mental demands. Exactly how to search for and choose one's career is an elusive question. Some people purpose是要说propose? that young people should try different jobs before they decide which career they will do in the long term. I totally agree with the suggestion because of the following benefits.

First of all, trying various jobs provides young people with去掉 more choices and guidances for their future career. A recently conducted survey among collage students domonstrates that a majority of them have no idea about what kind of career they want to pursue in spite of their majors. Take my friend Bob as an example. He is a straight A student in the department of management. In addition, he loves his major, and is interested in different management courses. He, together with everyone around him, expected to be a manager in a big company. After graduation, he found a position in management in a corporation. But he could not put the skill觉得skill不太恰当，既然是put into use，用knowledge会不会更好？ he learnt into practice and finally found that job was inappropriate for him. After trying lots of new jobs, he found that selling is more suitable for him and achieve a lot of sales in the new company.这句语法好像有点问题，achieve改成achieved吧，不然主语是selling了。

Furthermore, an enormous amount of experience can be acquired by doing different jobs which is also of great benefits to their future career. Actually, what people can learn in collage is very limited comparing with the knowledge and skills they need to handle in the complex society. Young people need to accumulate their experience, especially social skills and network, so as to enjoy a bright future. Since people in the society are inter-dependent去掉破折号，有这个合成词, everyone relys on each others..each other固定搭配. People who have worked for这个一般是说为某人为公司为工资工作，后面接jobs很奇怪
different jobs are in an excellent chance of making friends with people of different fields. For instance, my uncle who used to be a taxi driver knowing different people for that job, achieve much success when he manage his market. His friends working in government departments helped him successfully apply the promission of marketing. His friends working in big hotels and commercial companies also purchase goods from his market. 段内论证是不是可以变化一下，上段用过例子论证了。。。

In conclusion, young people should not be to hasty to find a dream job they long expected since they have no idea if the dream job really suits them. Trying different job is an excellent idea that can help them find what they really want and help them accumulate useful experience, and make friends at the same time.
