2.The following appeared in a letter sent by a committee of homeowners
from the Deerhaven Acres to all homeowners in Deerhaven Acres.
"Seven years ago, homeowners in nearby Brookville community adopted a set
of restrictions on how the community's yards should be landscaped and what
colors the exteriors of homes should be painted. Since then, average
property values have tripled in Brookville. In order to raise property
values in Deerhaven Acres, we should adopt our own set of restrictions on
landscaping and housepainting."

While the average property values have tripled since house owners in Brookville community adopted a unified standard for their houses, it seems reasonable for the committee of Deerhaven Acres to similarly set up their own restrictions on landscaping and house painting so that they can raise their property values like Brookville community. However, before the committee make a conclusion, they should investigate more on the main reasons of the raise in property values in Brookville community, on the differences between the two communities, and the most importantly, on the viewpoint of the house owners. Only in that way can the committee arrive at the most efficient and favorable solutions to raise the property values. |
