纽约F1怀孕可以申请Medicaid的吗？

我是F1学生，刚刚验出怀孕1个多月，我老公是在上庭中的身份
今天医院让我过几天去申请MEDICAID。
我当时人晕晕的也没有问清楚。
我想知道，有没有在纽约F1怀孕申请MEDICAID的？
会有什么影响吗？
在纽约批不批？
因为我知道有的洲批，有的洲是不批的。
有些人说如果是生小孩的medicaid应该没有大影响，是这样的吗？

你和你老公的收入加起来小于那个钱就可以去申，申了批不批就是另外一回事了

应该能批。但是绿卡最后一步会有负面影响。虽然说不是致命影响。所谓public charge

这些benefit是州提供的，和联邦法律无关。但是在绿卡申请最后一步会考虑到这种因素，看你变成居民以后会不会是public charge

如果你申请就违法的话州政府不会给你的，因为要违法的也是州政府。
只是如果你要申请绿卡的话会有不利影响

你到美国的前提就是你不会造成公众负担，一旦这个前提不存在，你的status自然就不成立了， 所以无论你申请还是接受这类救济都会使你的F1身份失效，这是肯定的， 接受救济造成公众负担还有可能违反州或者联邦法律

当然，你家走政庇，法不犯法也就没所谓了~大不了你也庇

去年我们政策课学的就是这些福利政策，food stamps(现在叫Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)), WIC，housing benefits这些F1留学生都没资格申请，怎么接受？

最简单的SNAP申请只有公民不用等，绿卡递了申请还得等几个月，就是能申请（况且还不能）接下去也还有拿难民签证的等着，哪轮得到F1。。。
