求助！HKU LLM转专业问题

先报一下鄙人情况~
现在拿到一枚中大IEL offer，港大CFL被拒了，继续等港大MCL中。鄙人的意愿是港大CFL>中大IEL>港大MCL，今天刚刚收到CFL的拒信非常郁闷。。鄙人非常向往港大，向往CFL。。它的课程设置很吸引我，与我的学习兴趣和就业意向都是吻合的。。在花费同等时间精力金钱的情况下，CFL是我最最理想的offer。。

于是，鄙人想到了曲线救国。。。想在此问一下各位，如果我被MCL录了，有没有可能入学后转成CFL？转专业的条件是什么？我听HKU其他院系同学说taught master转专业难度不是很大，要做test，英语没问题一般都能转。但是我担心不同faculty的情况差距很大。。。苦于没有可靠消息来源，鄙人希望各位大人给点高见。。或者提供有转专业经历的师兄师姐的联系方式。。。万分感激。。鄙人在此跪谢。。。。

额、、这两个完全不一样吧。。mcl offer第一批发过了。。后面就算再有。。也应该转不了。。这两个专业差很多
mcl是full-time白天上课
cfl是晚上周末上课
都说mcl比cfl累很多
你要是cfl和其他的llm转应该简单。。但是mcl和其他llm不太一样。。转的可能性比较低

MCL和CFL的确不一样。。但是转过去真的那么难么？另外，请教一下CFL也是full-time programme为什么会是晚上和周末上课呢？ 2# angelwyp

我看到坛子上几周之前就有好几个童鞋说收到mcl的录取了，现在也没人说收到cfl，我一直以为cfl比mcl晚发....

是的，我仔细研读了MCL的regulation，在Curriculum-LL62下中的d项是这么说的：
(d) satisfy the examiners in each of a total number of courses amounting to at least 48
credits in value (including the compulsory course mentioned above) and selected (with
the approval of the Programme Director) from the courses listed in the Syllabuses
below, which shall include at least 36 credits of courses designated below as “Common law subjects”.
也就是说学生至少要修满48个学分（包括必修课），并且至少有36分要从下面列出来并标识为"common law subjects”的课程里面修读。

在coursework项下，必修课有Research project (Oral Presentation)(6-credit)和Guided research(12-credit)两门，二者选一即可。用48-6=42/48-12=36分之后，其中至少有36个学分必须从标识为"common law subjects”的课程里面修读。再研究一下选修课清单就会发现所有课程都分为6-credit和12-credit两类，那么也就是说除去必修课，剩下42学分的同学有四种选修方案：
1）12+12+12+6  4门，其中3门必须带有common law subjects标识
2）12+12+6+6+6  5门，其中4门必须带有common law subjects标识
3）12+6+6+6+6+6  6门，其中5门必须带有common law subjects标识
4）6+6+6+6+6+6+6  7门，其中6门必须带有common law subjects标识
剩下36学分的同学也有四种选修方案：（必须全部带有common law subjects标识）
1）12+12+12  3门
2）12+12+6+6  4门
3）12+6+6+6+6  5门
4）6+6+6+6+6+6  6门

不知道这样写得够不够清楚。。。歇口气。。下面继续分析。。。

接下来我对比了一下MCL和CFL的courselist，发现MCL与CFL相同的可选课程如下，且学分都为6-credit：

从以上清单可以看出，一方面，MCL基本涵盖了CFL的课程，其中不少核心/经典课程都有"common law subjects”标识；另一方面，也有不少课程没有"common law subjects”标识，这些课程可能较为specialized，又或者课程内容涉及PRC。鉴于MCL那36个学分的限制，实际上MCL的学生最多能选一门不带"common law subjects”标识的CFL课程。

结论是，正如这位筒子说的一样，MCL也可以选很多CFL课程，只不过带有一定的局限性罢了~第一次在寄托发这么长的帖子，累。。。。
