接受szmanutd斑竹的建议，开始第二遍刷黄皮阅读，突然发现自己对阅读有了一种新的理解和感受，于是就阅读黄皮书的第一篇短阅读做了笔记，以期和大家交流讨论，同时以此帖表达对szmanutd斑竹的感谢。
不过本人菜鸟一只，欢迎路过大侠们批评指教！这些想法也不成熟，欢迎大家交流讨论！
我突然发现，GRE阅读中有大量的重复信息和无用信息，我认为这是拖延我们宝贵时间的一大因素！
这篇文章的五句话：
Great comic art is never otherwordly, it does not seek to mystify us, and it does not deny ambiguity by branding as evil whatever differs from good.
这句话其实只表达了一个意思：Great comic art is never otherwordly。后面的两个分句就是耗费时间的重复信息：
does not seek to mystify us= never otherworldly
it does not deny ambiguity…= never otherworldly
这就是把一句话正着说一次，反着说两次，于是乎接受一条信息的时间延长了3倍。
Great comic artists assume that truth may bear all lights, and thus they seek to accentuate contradictions in social action, not gloss over
or transcend them by appeals to extrasocial symbols of divine ends, cosmic purpose, or laws of nature.
和第一句的把戏一样，这句话not后面的半句是对前半句的重复，于是接受信息的时间又长了一倍。
前半句，只要发现assume that truth may bear all lights= never otherworldly，就会发现这条信息给了一个因果关系：
∵never otherworldly
∴accentuate contradictions in social action
再换个思维看，是不是accentuate contradictions in social action也是个never otherworldly，于是有因为never otherworldly，所以never otherworldly
一个貌似长难句的东西就是——一句废话！

The moment of transcendence in great comic art is a social moment, born out of the conviction that we are human, even though we try to be gods.
这句话的前半句是一个等号，其实就是comic art= social …，然后呢，这个social= never otherworldly，后半句 we are human= never otherwordly，看懂了，这是在重复第一句Great comic art is never otherworldly。
这个even though，都知道让步不是重点。
又是一条重复信息。不过我觉的应该提防even though 出细节题。

The comic community to which artists address themselves is a community of reasoning, loving, joyful, compassionate beings, who are willing to assume the human risks of acting rationally.
这句话前半句又是在重复第一句吧reasoning, loving, joyful这些东西是暗指never otherwordly的，后半句给出了第二个信息willing to assume the human risks of acting rationally，即标榜comic art的理性。

Without invoking gods or demons, great comic art arouses courage in reason, courage which grows out of trust in what human beings can do as humans.
这句话，第一分句gods or demons其实是指otherwordly，于是又在重复第一句。
第二分句重复第二条信息，即comic art标榜reason
第三个分句，又是一个never otherwordly。

综上所述，这篇文章就是在重复comic art的两条信息： never otherwordly和标榜reason。
所有的句子看完，然后再来看题，不会做才怪！
