Is it easier to be a success in the past than it is today?


In the modern society, people are suffering increasing pressure and facing more challenges, hence some people complain that it is easier to be a success in the past than it is today. However, this complaint is ridiculous, ignoring the advantages today.

Useful and timely information plays an important role in making success. Modern society is a civilized and developed world, full of all kinds of information and different thing fulfilled our increasing requirements. We can get information more conveniently and faster in many ways today than our ancestors. Internet is a giant database including almost all fields' information, which is meaningful and important in our daily life. And computers are becoming more and more popular and the more available to access to the Internet, （这个地方不是很理解，是要用the more.....the more.....句型吗）we can get almost everything on the Internet just by clicking the mouse. Also with the universality of mobile phones, there is another method in linking to the Internet by using mobile phones, especially the ones with wifi. Of course, libraries with numerous books are still wonderful places to gain information. While in the past, perhaps libraries were existed, but the number of the books in libraries was far behind that today. The ancestors can hardly obtain information what they needed.

In addition, we need cooperation to fulfill the goals and meet success. In the past, bad traffic condition limited the teamwork with partners who were far away from in the case of no airplanes, especially some works asked for face to face to solve the problems. While today, our world is smaller and smaller because of the comfortable and rapid traffic system. Meanwhile, thanks to the invention of phones and the Internet, it makes us closer. When we get confused, a video conferencing can let us discuss like we are face to face. Moreover, ancestors' experience and intelligence, as well as lots of inventions are huge treasure which can guide us in a right way, making success more easily.

Therefore, there is no way around the fact that it is easier to success than it in the past.
