这句读起来好别扭啊，我是这样断句的

怎么读起来感觉像这样的:因为常年堆积起来的一大坨雪的压力。。怎么出来个to transform 这个不定式感觉好别扭
哪位同学能帮我解释一下这个不定式的用法。。不胜感激

主语是surplace，谓语是allow，宾语是两个并列的，一个是to accumulate，一个是for the pressure of snow （that is） accumulated over the years  to transform A into B  
这就是偶然在一起的两个词而已，就是allow sb to do sth
