It is no doubt that most of us live in an age of intensive media coverage and it is almost impossible for any celebrity or authoritative people to hide whatever he has done either in public or private. Besides that, what I think more deeply is maybe we just don't need a living hero now. For these reasons, I mainly agree with the
author's view that there will be no living people regarded as a hero from now on.

This is a highly transparent era that monitors or photographic lens can be found at everywhere in our daily life so that the things you have done will be exposure to the public sooner or later, no matter who you are. Because of this, people tend to give those human beings, who are outstand from the ordinary people, extra care and put them in the spotlight for they expect one of these men or women to be a hero without any weakness. But unfortunately, we could find a man or woman who has no shortcoming. Bill Clinton, a famous American president who contributes a lot to overcome the sluggish growth of the American economy, should have been a hero among Americans, if the public hadn't shocked by his personal scandals. Martin Luther King, the person who brought the Civil Rights revolution to Chicago, would also have regarded as a hero, if he hadn't hesitated to express his anti-war thought.

Thanks to the modern technology, most of us accept the idea that all the people live on the Earth will make mistakes and there has no living saint or hero. The popular films can show the public's thought or aspiration and we can find that many welcomed movies' topic is about hero; in such stories, the leading role tend to earn their heroic status by encountering troubles and overcoming them by their super power. But let us think about this question: are these superhuman in the stories merited to be regarded as heroes? In my view, hero is just a word which means perfect. No one is perfect so that no one could be called hero. Since we live in a world of instant gratification, in which we need is only a man who will do something at a crucial time, not a living hero. Hero could just be a belief existed in our mind.

It is true that maybe in few society which still controlled by autocracy, the public are imbued with some funny information, in which some people use power to exaggerate the fact and to conceal the scandal. Then in such society, there are some living people could be regarded as hero or even saint. Nonetheless, in these societies, nothing is impossible.

In conclusion, the speaker’s claim is mostly correct except in some especial society that it is not the age you can easily let a person accepted by the society as hero. With numerous technology and massive information, public will know almost everything about a person, both good deeds and evil things. What’s more, we don’t really need a living hero, what we need is only ourselves.

The following was written by a group of developers in the city of Monroe.

A jazz music club in Monroe would be a tremendously profitable enterprise. At present, the nearest jazz club is over 60 miles away from Monroe; thus, our proposed club, the C Note, would have the local market all to itself. In addition, there is ample evidence of the popularity of jazz in Monroe: over 100,000 people attended Monroe's jazz festival last summer, several well-known jazz musicians live in Monroe, and the highest-rated radio program in Monroe is 'Jazz Nightly.' Finally, a nationwide study indicates that the typical jazz fan spends close to $1,000 per year on jazz entertainment. We therefore predict that the C Note cannot help but make money."

Write a response in which you discuss what questions would need to be answered in order to decide whether the prediction and the argument on which it is based are reasonable. Be sure to explain how the answers to these questions would help to evaluate the prediction.

In this argument, the arguer recommends that we should set up a new jazz club named C Note(C) in Monroe (M) because she predicts that the C will make money without doubt. To strengthen this recommendation, she cites several examples, such as the nearest jazz club is 60 miles away from M, some famous jazz musicians live in M; the speaker also shows a statistic from a nationwide study about the cost of a typical jazz fan spent in a year. Seemingly, this argument is somewhat persuasive; in fact, it provides little credible support for the profitability of this proposal.

First of all, hardly can we accept the auger's claim that the C club would own the local market all to itself just because there is no jazz club whose distance between M is less than 60 miles. As the argument indicates, the jazz fans living in M went to the jazz club over 60 miles away from M in the past and maybe the club is a high quality club with the most skillful DJs and excellent instruments. Except that, even the club away from M is not better than the C club, we still couldn't come to a conclusion like that. As we all know, human being is a kind of animal with habitual behavior so that there will be someone used to go to other clubs even they are far away from their homes. So, without any convincing proof, the arguer cannot draw a conclusion that the C club will have the local market all to itself.

Even I concede that the new club will get the local market all to itself, it still couldn't arrive at this that the new club will surely make money. The argument claims that jazz is popular in M by three examples; however, this might not be the case. For instance, perhaps over 90 percent of the people who attended M's jazz festival last summer don't live in M and these people live far away from M, even in other countries; perhaps those celebrated jazz musicians choose M to live only because M is a peaceful city and they don't want to play jazz any more. To support the popularity of jazz in M, the last fact is also weak. We don't have any idea about the number of programs when the "Jazz Nightly" begins; maybe there is only one program, "Jazz Nightly". Unless the arguer can convince me that all these possibilities are unlikely, I cannot accept the point of view that jazz is very popular in M.

Finally, even assuming that the new club will get the local market all to itself and jazz is popular in M, the nationwide study about the cost of a jazz fan spent on jazz entertainment may be fake. Even if the nationwide study is credible, the people live in M may not spend too much on jazz entertainment. Even they spend as much money on jazz as the people in nationwide study; this money wouldn't all be used to pay for jazz club expenses.

To sum up, there are not enough potent evidences to prove "the C club cannot help but make money", for this reason, the arguer have to account for more persuasive proves in order to convince us that the C club will profit to a fraction.

Issue修改:
It (There) is no doubt that most of us live in an age of intensive media coverage and it is almost impossible for any celebrity or authoritative people to hide whatever he has done either in public or private. Besides that, what I think more deeply is maybe we just don't need a living hero now. For these reasons, I mainly agree with the author's view that there will be no living people regarded as a hero from now on.
开头提出两个观点:
1媒体的存在揭露个人缺点,英雄难以产生。
2我们今天的社会不需要英雄。
This is a highly transparent era that monitors or photographic lens can be found at (去掉at?) everywhere in our daily life so that the things you have done will be exposure (exposed) to the public sooner or later, no matter who you are. Because of this(有点问题, highly transparent era与put them in the spotlight没有明显的因果关系吧?), people tend to give those human beings, who are outstand (distinguished) from the ordinary people, extra care and put them in the spotlight for they expect one of these men or women to be a hero without any weakness. But unfortunately, we could (not) find a man or woman who has no shortcoming. Bill Clinton, a famous American president who contributes (contributed) a lot to overcome the sluggish growth of the American economy, should have been a hero among Americans, if the public hadn't (been) shocked by his personal scandals. Martin Luther King, the person who brought the Civil Rights revolution to Chicago, would also have (been) regarded as a hero, if he hadn't hesitated to express his anti-war thought. (一般人还是认为Martin Luther King是个英雄吧?说他不完美是不是更恰当呢?)
此段论证了开头提出的第一个观点

Thanks to the modern technology, most of us accept the idea that all the people live on the Earth will make (makes) mistakes and there has (is) no living saint or hero. The popular films can show the public's thought or aspiration and we can find that many welcomed movies' topic is about hero; in such stories, the leading role (roles) tend to earn their heroic status by encountering troubles and overcoming them by their super power. But let us think about this question: are these superhuman in the stories merited to be regarded as heroes? In my view, hero is just a word which means perfect (这个观点是不是应该在上一段就明确提出呢?). No one is perfect so that no one could be called hero. Since we live in a world of instant gratification (这是怎么体现的?), in which (what) we need is only a man who will do something at a crucial time, not a living hero. (从原因到结果说得都不是那么清楚)Hero could just be a belief existed in our mind.
此段是对应第二个观点?

It is true that maybe in few society which still controlled by autocracy, the public are imbued with some funny information, in which some people use power to exaggerate the fact and to conceal the scandal. Then in such society, there are some living people could be regarded as hero or even saint. Nonetheless, in these societies, nothing is impossible.
这个观点没有在你的开头提出,另外,如果能说得更具体一点就好了
In conclusion, the speaker’s claim is mostly correct except in some especial society that it is not the age you can easily let a person accepted by the society as hero. With numerous technology (technologies) and massive information, public will know almost everything about a person, both good deeds and evil things. What’s more, we don’t really need a living hero, what we need is only ourselves.

整篇文章观点是明确的,但是论证有点不顺畅,稍微修改一下效果会更好的。
第一个观点得到了比较好的例子的支持,但是第二个观点(第三段)中心不是很突出,第四段也略显单薄。

There is no doubt that most of us live in an age of intensive media coverage and it is almost impossible for any celebrity or authoritative people to hide whatever he has done either in public or private. And in my point of view, hero should be a person different from others without any stain so that I suppose that we couldn’t have a living hero around us in the present society. Besides that, what I think more deeply is maybe we just don't need a living hero now. For these reasons, I mainly agree with the author's view that there will be no living people regarded as a hero from now on; however, every rule has its exception. 增加了对于hero的定义,即perfect. 最后一句引一下最后那段让步。

This is a highly transparent era that monitors or photographic lens can be found everywhere in our daily life so that the things you have done will be exposed to the public sooner or later, no matter who you are. Because of this, people tend to give those human beings, who are distinguished from the ordinary people, extra care and put them in the spotlight for they expect one of these men or women to be a hero without any weakness. But unfortunately, we couldn’t find a man or woman who has no shortcoming. Bill Clinton, a famous American president who contributed a lot to overcome the sluggish growth of the American economy, should have been a hero among Americans, if the public hadn't been shocked by his personal scandals. Martin Luther King, the person who brought the Civil Rights revolution to Chicago, would also have been regarded as a hero, if he hadn't hesitated to express his anti-war thought during 1965 to 1967. 用马丁路德金的例子说明 没有人是完美的 即使是平时没听说有丑闻的人

The popular films can show the public's thought or aspiration and we can find that many welcomed movies' topic is about hero; in such stories, the leading roles tend to earn their heroic status by encountering troubles and overcoming them by their talent. But let us think about this question: are these superhuman in the stories merited to be regarded as heroes? They just do something with their super power at a special time. Except that, they don’t contribute anything to the society. Since hero is a word which means perfect and no one is perfect so that no one could be called hero. We live in a world of instant gratification and what we need is only a man who will do something at a crucial time, not a living hero. Hero could just be a belief existed in our mind. 没有活着的hero也不需要hero
