答案选的是D，我就不懂了，从哪里看出lasts longer从文章中，从加粗的那句话看来农业似乎一直都是女性长期从事工作的地方，这似乎跟答案所说的在农业上工作持续的时间在二战后更长了想违背的。难道答案所说的工作持续时间不是广义上的时间跨度，而是花在农业打理上的时间？我觉得吧，从红色的字体中似乎可以看出答案C是合理的，或许C中large-scale并没有体现出来。anyway，我还是不能说服自己，还是求高手解答。

楼主理解有误，不是工作的持续的时间，二是农业部门女性劳动力数量增加的持续时间啊。整个1950s从事农业女性数量一直是平稳增加的，但只有二战那几年妇女从事工业的数量增加，男人打仗回来后，她们又退出了工业。

我觉得LZ在D选项上，和大字体的两句话上都理解差了
答案D的意思，伴随着二战而来的女性就业的增加，在农业中比在制造中持续得更久
大字体的两句，二战结束后（男性从战场返回），没多少女性仍从事制造业工作。但在农业中，不同于其他行业中，女性被视为暂时的劳动力，女性的就业并没有随着战争的结束而终止

惭愧的进来表示当时选的C

现在瓦明白了~~如楼上所说，二战的时候男银们都去打仗了，于是女银们就从事manufacture &agriculture~~战争结束后，男银们回来鸟，manufacture就雇佣男银不雇佣女银了~~而agriculture仍雇佣女银~~~所以选D了~~

不选C的原因系，原先当男银使的从事manufacture的女银们的去向木有clearly illustrated，who knows where they went~~~~

发现OG里的阅读文章难度不大，但题目需要仔细推敲~~ETS真黑啊~~~

同意楼上的说法，话说我当时也是选的c，而且越看越对，刚才看了楼上几位的分析，终于明白鸟~关于女性的去向没有说明，她们有可能回归domestic life.ect，并且原文中有temporary，也是选项中做出时间对比的一个依据吧，感觉新G阅读中错误选项很多就是没有明确依据，但是咱们读文章的时候会不由自主的给添加一些假设条件等等，然后就掉进ETS的陷阱去了……
